Slightly tired room, but the bed was large and comfortable. The linen is greying but was clean. The Buffet entree was a little disappointing - no salad on my night of eating. And the selection was very poor compared to other Campaniles I have stayed in all around France. The staff are very friendly and do speak English without being... More

We stayed here as part of a large bike ride through France. They were not prepared for a large group, consistently running out of glasses, chairs and other essentials even though we were booked in. The meal was also poorly prepared with the steak being VERY rare without consideration for asking how people liked them cooked and they'd clearly been... More

We have nearly always used Campaniles while driving through France and found them to be of a good basic standard. The restaurants in particular usuallyoffer good value meals for travellers. Alas this was not the case in Lisieux where we found the restaurant lacked choice and the meal offered was very basic indeed. Such a pity that no effort was... More

Good Campanile hotel, within walking distance to the city centre, clean rooms, friendly staff, free parking and free Wi-Fi. We didn't have any meal, but it looked good. Price is adequate for what you get.

Decent value for money, nothing fancy with this hotel, but it was clean and served our purpose as a stop over on the way back to Paris just fine. It only has access from one side of the road, so you may have to drive around more than one roundabout to get to the right side depending on where you... More

We booked this hotel based on the Camponiles we have stayed at in the UK, wrong. This Ian' really a hotel it's workers accommodation. The rooms are vey basic, the shower/ex was more or less a plastic portaloo. The bed was hard and uncomfortable drooping into the centre and the room was tiny. The towels were like cardboard. However, the... More

this is one of those places that is not an hotel but a place to sleep. Staff is oke, young and hard working. Breakfast is oke. price is far to high for this type of "hotel". Nevertheless it is booked, also by me, and that is all there is to say.

I have just stayed here for the last time after using Campaniles for 40 years. The room was OK (you get what you pay for at a budget hotel) except that the bed was so hard I woke up with aching back and shoulders. The meal though was just awful. The 'Buffet d'entrees' used to be a good meal with... More

The (non-smoking!) room stank of cigarettes. The kettle lid was broken. The fluorescent tube in the clothes hanging area didn't work. The door to the clothes hanging area was missing. Dinner in the restaurant was unmemorable. Breakfast was memorable because the fruit salad had fermented. For entertainment, you can stand on the gangway outside you room and watch drivers failing... We got there at night and only checked in without having a look at the rest of the facilities. Room stank of smoke, I could see hair under the bed sheet and my side of the duvet was ripped. Good value but just for a night sleep, no more no less, but that is what is expected by a Campanile.... More
