This was our first night in France, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Sandrine is such a gracious hostess, and the B&B was all we asked for...also, just down the road from Monet's home and garden.

We were in Giverny for a long weekend recently and our stay at Les Jardins d'Helene could not have been nicer. Sandrine and David were lovely hosts - on hand to help, without being obtrusive - really just the perfect mix. Breakfasts were really good, and the garden was lovely to sit in for a couple of hours in the... More

This was the best surprise. Accommodations were very comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, the location convenient and Sandrine was the perfect hostess. Her English was perfect, her knowledge of the area, helpful and her "local" bakery was the best we found in all of France. She also had bikes for us to roam around the country side on. We'd like... We just stayed at Les jardins d'Helene for 3 days. The weather was awful, but this place is wonderful! We stayed in the lovely Barcarolle room downstairs,It's a pretty and spacious room, beautifully decorated and furnished, with a comfortable bed, and a beautiful ensuite with it, and looks over the gardens! On the last day, when finally the sun came out... More

Sandrine was the perfect hostess speaking English was such a great help to us, she offered advise on the local places to visit, times of flea markets etc, our room Barcarolle was delightful looking out over her lovely garden, where we enjoyed several picnic meals, we were well aware that she did not take plastic and this was not a... We had the Barcarolle room with the interesting step down bath on the first floor. We overlooked the lovely garden. We were treated to a house concert the night we arrived in the large common room. There is lots of space for guests. Our only complaint was payment. Sandrine does not take plastic which we were not aware. We had... More

The B&B is lovely! My husband and I stayed in the blue room, which was quite clean and comfortable. There is another room located upstairs. Both rooms have private baths off the hall. The other room was occupied, so Sandrine dropped heavy curtains in the hallway to achieve more privacy between the rooms and bathrooms - very clever! Our friends... More

When visiting the House and Gardens of Claude Monet it is best to stay in the village and discover the spirit of Giverny. Sandrine's wonderful home is perfect for this as she goes out of her way to ensure that you experience the wonder of this lovely place. We stayed upstairs in the blue room and although the bathroom is... More

What a wonderful two night stay! The hostess is very helpful, without being intrusive. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. I am a clean freak and the rooms are spotless! The bathrooms are well stocked with towels, toiletries, etc. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and allowed for choice. The inn is well situated in Giverny. It is within... More

We had a short stay and wished we could have spent another night. This really is a great find, the host Sandrine could not be more helpful. Her house and garden are really beautiful and perfectly situated in the wonderful village of Giverny. The B&B has all the facilities needed with the added bonus of bikes and also Sandrine arranges...
