We stayed at this lovely B&B for 5 nights and had the most relaxing time. Philippe and Elisabeth were so welcoming and helpful. The house is wonderful and the gardens so beautiful. Ideally situated for walks through Giverny, visits to the garden and day trips out. The accomodation was beautiful, very clean and most interesting. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Elisabeth et Philippe's beautiful home. It must rate as one of the very best B & B's available. Its location for a visit to Monet's garden and fly out of Charles de Gaulle airport perfectly suited our travel plan .

The b & b was so warm and welcoming we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to experience the beautiful gardens of Monet. The proprietors were accommodating and saw to our every need. From the welcoming aperitif to when Phillipe closed the gates closed behind us! we were enthralled. Don't miss the glass house room in the garden or... More

We spent one night at La Pluie de Roses in the "Bonheur du jour" room (upstairs). The room was nicely decorated, with an old world charm. It smelled like roses. The bed was comfortable; linen was fresh and clean and the bathroom was immaculate. The shower was very very nice. The B&B is conveniently located on Rue Claude Monet, about... More

A beautiful large house filled with antiques, and 2 very cute dogs. we booked the largest private room. Very comfortable with lots of space to relax in, mixture of quaint deco mixed with Ikea beds and shelves. Private entrance meant no one was walking by our door, so nice and quiet. unluckily for us, our 2 night stay was a... More

We received a very friendly welcome from the owners and were enchanted with our room and how charmingly it was furnished and decorated. The shared public areas were beautiful and offered a very calm, relaxed atmosphere with the added bonus of soft classical music playing in the background. Breakfasts were ample and freshly prepared and were beautifully laid out. I... More

This property is well located, has charming and very accommodating hosts, lovely grounds, a nice breakfast and a welcoming glass of wine all at a very reasonable price. Parking on the property rather than on the street was a plus. Who needs more!

This gem of a chambre d'hôte was a real treat. The room was lovely and the breakfast a delight. The couple who own the house are very charming and made us feel welcome. The restaurant they recommended was also good.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very gracious. They even covered our bikes when the weather forecasted rain! The only complaint was loud conversation downstairs while we were trying to sleep. I don't believe they realized that we could hear every detail of their conversation! Easy to find and the owners are very welcoming.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Pluie de Roses during August 2013 and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others searching for a peaceful rural retreat in the heart of the Normandy countryside. We were welcomed most warmly by Philippe and Elisabeth who were our charming hosts. They always had time to chat and answer... More
