Like so many other reviews, we absolutely agree that the hosts Phillipe and Elizabeth have created a unique and delightful place to stay. Although the address is Claude Monet Rue, if you are driving you will be directed to the other side of the house and garden which provides a perfect vista of the breakfast room and front of the... We stayed at La Pluie de Roses last September and it was just perfect. We had wanted to stay in Giverny for a couple of nights whilst we visited the Monet Gardens and we were sold on La Pluie de Roses by the photos of the accomodation and the lovely reviews. It definitely exceeded the reviews and the photos -... More

We stayed with Phillipe and Elisabeth recently while on a trip to Monet's Garden, and if you're thinking of staying in Giverny soon then you really should try to stay here - they are lovely people and really go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after!. La Pluie is an old house (about 100 years... More

Within walking distance of the gardens this is a charming spot. The home sits in an extensive garden of its own and is absolutely full of French nick nacks. The woman is a semi retired opera singer and the place reflects her love of music. Breakfast was special. The two guest rooms are downstairs and at least with ours, lacked... More

We stayed at La Pluie des Roses yesterday as our second stop on the way back from Spain. Giverny is a really pretty place and of course famous for its Monet connections and, especially, the famous gardens. The visit is made complete by staying with the Chavreau's at La Pluie des Roses. We have stayed at quite a few chambres... More

We had a good night at La Pluie de Roses. Phillip and his wife are very nice and great at hosting. We really enjoyed the breakfast as we'll. Phillip's wife even dropped us off at vernon train station which was very thoughtful. We will recommend to stay at Phillip's place for sure. Thank you.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The B&B is beautifully decorated in French vintage style and the garden is just lovely. The kids loved running around hiding in it. Philippe and his wife make you feel most welcome. The village is beautiful and we could walk to Monet's gardens from the property. There are plenty of eateries... More

My husband and I wanted to stay near Monet's garden so we could get an early start. La Pluie de Roses was a perfect choice. The house is full of antiques and there are lots of interesting pieces in all the rooms. Our suite comprised of a very large room and very large bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. Philippe... After a long plane ride, La Pluie de Roses was a most welcome respite. Our charming room furnished with vintage pieces and a most comfortable KING size bed was large so that we could reorganize our luggage from air travel. We had an airy and light sitting room en suite. Breakfast was delicious and served on antique porcelain place settings.... More
