This hotel is one of the few accommodation options right in the heart of Giverny. The room was small but clean and quiet. It was also a shirt stroll to Monet's house. Well worth considering. The buffer breakfast was adequate and kept us going until early afternoon.

Staff was tolerant of English speakers, which you don't find too often in France. I appreciated their patience with my trying to read their menu. Food was hot, delicious and what I expected. My only suggestion is that, in spite of the best efforts to tolerate us English speakers, I still did not feel welcomed. I felt like a nuisance... More

I visited Giverny recently to paint in Monet's garden. During our stay we ate dinner at La Muardiere 3 times. We chose to return to this restaurant because the food was delicious and they offered a variety of traditional French dishes like omelette with cheese and mushrooms, crepes called galleries filled with a variety of ingredients and fresh salads. We... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It is only a few minutes walk to Monet's Garden. The room was a good size and very clean. A comfortable bed and good shower. A lovely place to spend a few quiet days.

My parents and my girlfriend and I stayed in two rooms here whilst visiting monets garden. The hotel is in prime location two minutes walk from the legendary garden of Monet. One of the rooms had a stunning view over endless marsh fields. One of the best views we've had from any hotel room. I felt it represented excellent value... More

First hotel in France on travels. It was OK. Been in better. Been in a lot worse. The gardens are very pretty even in October. The restaurant was OK. Why in loft when only 3 rooms occupied? Dinner OK. Very middle of the road

If you are looking for a comfortable restaurant that serves local cuisine like galettes, crepes, chicken with cider sauce, omlettes and more, definately dine here. The atmosphere is wonderful because the restaurant is in a charming old building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definately do not skip dessert!

A clean but basic attic bedroom with windows firmly closed on a hot day.No working wifi, papercups ,no shampoo and 2 small towels. This should have been better in the very pretty village of Giverny.Dinner, Buckwheat Pancakes ,their speciality, were tough and cold. Breakfast next morning at 11 euro's . Not on the very nice terrace but in a self service buffet... More
