We stayed here for the one night we were in Cherbourg. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was light and airy overlooking the marina. I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions as it is close to the ferry terminal. It's ok but a bit basic. Just too far from the city centre to walk, so a taxi is required. It's the kind of place you would stay if on business or as in my case while waiting for the ferry.... more

Passable for business travellers. Comments by others accurate, in my mind. No air conditioning in summer. Although scorching temperatures are pretty rare in Cherbourg, if it is a rare heat wave, you will suffer Warm in winter.
