My wife and I spent two nights here in early June, during the week of the D-Day 70th Anniversary, and we absolutely LOVED it. Virginia was a perfect host! Very helpful with recommendations around town (dinner at Le Bouchon de Vaugueux was great), she spoke English perfectly and most importantly was just a pleasure to speak to and start our... More

The four of us had the suite of two rooms and a bathroom. The rooms, at least the larger of the two, were roomier than others we found in France. English was spoken so there was no problem in communication. This suite is probably more suited to a family with younger children, as the smaller bedroom, with two single beds,... More

Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the Normandy area. Lovely old home that has been restored very well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Location is walking distance to a number of restaurants and sights. The host (Sylvie) was extraordinarily helpful and welcoming, and spent a lot of time one evening helping us out. Speaks... More

Special accommodation - very elegant and charming in a historic house that has been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard. Room spacious and comfortable. Good shower room. Lovely breakfast. Charming host. Short walk to the town centre and restaurants.

We spent three nights here using it as a base for exploring Normandy and the Beaches. Great location, walking to some nice restaurants. You can park inside the gate, although the pathway is just wide enough for a full sized car. We had a second floor room, which was huge. Free, fast, internet. Breakfast was very nice and served whenever... More

We stayed at this gorgeous little B&B for 2 nights with our children in a 2 bedroom room. It was nothing short of perfect and Sylvie and Jean-Noël were absolutely wonderful hosts. I really hope to come back to Caen again one day and would definitely stay here.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Caen. We chose the B and B, Clos St. Martin. What a lovely gem! The location is perfect. It is located between the train station and the Caen Memorial Museum. From the Caen Memorial museum, we were able to join a mini van tour to the D-Day beaches. The B and... More

This accommodation is more than a B&B and less than a hotel. It is more of a lodge. It was like a country home. There is a large lounge downstairs and we had an equally large bedroom on the first floor. Both of these rooms were full of antiques and so many of them gave the place a sort of... More

We got there but there was no one there to greet us. I made a phone call and she was there in 5 minutes. Tthe owner was not present just someone that works here. She was helpful, showed us to our room, which was on the 2nd floor, but it was really the third floor. If you have medical issues... More

Spent several nights there with my family. Very charming B&B. Jean and Sylvie are great hosts. The house is charming and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast daily was great. Definitely worth the stay.
