This is the equivalent of a truck stop hotel in an industrial area of Caen. I complained immediately to try and get a room change and they just gave a gaelic shrug and said not possible full. I tried on 2 occasions to move rooms to no avail. Even Leger reps agreed but did nothing on seeing the room. Whats... More

Stayed here for three nights whilst on a leger d-day battlefield tour - hotel was fine. Room was comfortable, no frills but as we were up early and out and about it was no problem. Very quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was contintental style - but more than adequate to start the day. Paid for evening meals - very good starter buffet,... More

Cheap and cheerful. Excellent for a couple of nights. Good location for trips out to the coast. Stayed with a few mates whilst on motorbike tour of Normandy and found it perfectly adequate and exceptionally good value for money for what we wanted.

We stayed at the Carline for four nights in September, the entrance and resturant very nice, the corridors to our room smelt foisty, they were dark dingy and dirty. We stayed in room 305 top floor, the bathroom smelt of stale urine and a drain smell. We had to sleep with the window open , then were woken up at... More

Stayed here as part of an organised coach trip for three nights in August, the hotel was perfectly adequate for purpose. A little basic perhaps but a good continental breakfast to set you up for a days sight seeing. Towels were changed daily and tea and coffee replenished too I would use this hotel again.

My wife and i stayed here 18th July for the Normandy beach's tour with Leger. It was more than adequate when you are out for 11 hours on both days of your beach tours. The rooms were basic but nice and clean, when going to Pegasus bridge buy a couple of D Day mugs but take some coffee satchets from... More

Stayed here during a Leger battlefield tour. Had booked as a single traveller, but got a twin room (room 5) so I had a bit of room and I was also on the ground floor. Room was at the side of the hotel and was very quiet. No drawers but plenty of hangers. No table as such but large shelf... More

Stay here last weekend came over on a battlefield tour and loved it . Must admit we did check out tripadvisor before we set out on our jollies and did know to take a mug with a few extra teabags so no problems there . The Hotel was spotless the bedrooms did everything you needed them to do as soon... More

Although in the centre of a business park, this is a great hotel to stop at the night before a ferry crossing. Just 20 mins from ouisterham, you can have a lie in. Staff are fantastic and food is good. It is also next door to one of the ubiquitous Buffalo Grills so eating is not a problem. Doesn't seem... More

We had a 1 night stop over in the Carline. We wanted a family room as we had 3 children with us, the Carline has family rooms a little like an apartment. You open the outer door and find yourself in a private corridor with 2 more doors leading to your two ensuite bedrooms. The rooms were a reasonable size... More
