We often go to Caen and this hotel is our best accomodation in this town. It is easily reached by motorway. It is very cheap with regard to the quality of the accomodation. Staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is good (except the bacon). The rooms are quite clean and quiet.

The Village hotel in Caen is part of a chain like Formule 1, etc.. but is of a rather higher standard. The one we stayed at was clean,comfortable and economically priced. If you're on a budget I would reccommend it but it is a little out of town so may be a problem if you have no transport. There is... More
