Very inviting after a long day of travel. Front desk was very polite and welcoming. Rooms were modern, fresh and clean. Accor Members get a small welcome pack which was a nice touch, if not exactly useful. Restaurants and shopping mall nearby and most importantly, for those who have a train to catch, a 4 min stroll to the train... More

Liked this hotel very much for a short economic stay. It's smart and very well presented, the reception staff are excellent and the room, although, small was incredibly well fitted out for self catering with microwave, hot plates, washing up machine and a full range of kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. A comfortable bed too. There's a washing machine available... More

Booked here for one night on route to Brittany with another couple. All rooms seem to be studios with small kitchen (for USA visitors; the kitchen is like a Residence Inn only smaller). Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the river which was nice and although it is city centre we could sleep with the windows open as... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights while we visited many sights in Normandy - Honfleur, Mt. St Michel, Bayeau, D Day sights. The hotel wasn't right in the part of Caen that seemed a bit more touristy to us. But, it had a good location for walking to grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants. When we travel, we... More

I stayed here for 10 months and will definitely not be doing back. 2 of the staff were very nice and helpful but the rest of them were absolutely horrible people with the worst attitudes I've ever came across. One of them in particular was an aggressive ignorant dragon of a woman. I'm not gonna name her even though I... More

Spent one night here on our tour of France and Belgium and wished we'd booked for two. The apartment was amazing for the price. So well equipped, nicely furnished, very clean and brilliant location. Breakfast was inexpensive and fresh with loads of choice.

We (family of 4 including 2 kids aged 10 and 11) stayed in an apartment for five nights. It is located right in the centre of the city and an easy walk to restaurants, grocery shops and a great bakery. It is a very secure building and although parking is available at the hotel for a small fee, we had... More

Used this as our base for day trips around the area (DDay beaches, Bayeux, etc) as it was conveniently located near the train station as well as Caen center. The hotel directions from the train station are a bit vague, so would definitely suggest mapping it out, but it is a short 5-10 minute walk which is great if you... More

We took the train from Paris to Caen. We had rented a car through thrift which was a few minute walk from the train station. The hotel was another 2 minute walk. It was located at the edge of the city with an easy walk to the "old section". It also was directly across the street from the L'Orne River.... More

This was a very pleasant surprise after our large party of travelers was unable to find a hotel in Bayeux. It is a modern hotel within easy travel distance to the D-Day Beaches, Bayeux, Honfleur and Mont St. Michel. It was a Nazi Command Base so it was severely damaged by the Allied Forces so it isn't as quaint as... More
