There's nothing terribly special about this hotel, but it provides very good 3 star accommodation in a handy location. Rooms are decent sized and pleasantly furnished, the beds are extremely comfy, breakfast is great by French standards, and the staff are lovely. On a price/quality/standard comparison it's a very good hotel. It's not some stylish designer palace, but that's not... More

I had drove into Caen from Paris and was looking for a place to stay last minute. I liked the location of the hotel in relation to the city. I felt it was a little pricey for a Best Western, so I used hotels.com or Travelocity App on my iphone and booked the room at half the price. I literally... More

Stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and large room and great restaurant as well, close to train station as well as local sites. Would have no problem staying here again. Race track is right across the street.

Arrived with small group of friends for pre booked three night stay (four rooms), using the hotel as base for tours of Normandy landing sites. Were informed by receptionist that no rooms were available for first two nights of stay due to "water problems" in hotel. We were directed to an Aparthotel some streets away where the hotel had arranged... More

Nice hotel, with very clean rooms in a nice area of Caen by the horse track. Good price/quality The bathrooms are especially spacious and modern. There is plenty of parking spaces around the hotel in the street. I had a room in the 4th floor.

We chose this hotel as it was not in the centre of Caen and provided a chargeable covered secure parking area, open to the public but not used by them. The room was large, as was the bed, but spoilt by what looked like a large coffee stain on the carpet by one of the bedside cabinets, otherwise very clean.... More

We stayed here one night while in Caen to visit the WWII memorial. Hotel is very well located, close to train station and within short walking distance (2 blocks) of town center with restaurants and cafes. Staff was very helpful and friendly (all english speaking) and provided suggestions for dinner and assistance in arranging transportation. Rooms, while typical Best Western,... More

This was our first time in Caen and I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is in the heart of the city and you can walk to the main centre in a few minutes. It's right next to the race track. Very close to restaurants, shops and the main tourist info centre. We rented a car to tour Normandy... More

stayed at this hotel since it was Holiday Inn. So I've experienced upgrades of the rooms etc. Last stay I had exec room and was disappointed. Airco system worked, but when changing power setting it made strange noise + dirt/dust fell out of it. Scared of catching diseases I simply turned it off. No ironing device in room. Had to... More

We arrived at the hotel on Sunday afternoon. There was a sign at the desk to call an extension number to get service. That was a bit disconcerting, but a nice gentleman soon appeared. Since there is free parking on weekends (until Monday at 0930), we were able to park right in front of the hotel. They have space in... More
