This is a quirky, hard to find hotel in Caen, quite near the city centre. It has a very old world feel, with small floors which seem tumble upon each other. We arrived late due to Euroshuttle delays but we phoned up and they left an entry code to get in. The rooms were compact, but comfortable. Breakfast was fairly... More

We booked this hotel based on location, reviews, and price, and were very pleased! The manager was amazing - SO helpful with our many "special" requests. We had one room in the old hotel and one in an annex - the latter had a lovely courtyard in which we ate our breakfast, after having been directed by the manager to... More

Fantastic location with on street parking which is free after 7pm at ngiht. Within 5 minute walk of Chateau/Castle and loads of restaurants and bars. Welcoming host who was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was basic but plently of food available - tea/coffee/juice, yoghurt, croissants etc Would definitely stay again due to superb location and service

Location couldn't be better, right next to William the Conquoror's castle and very close to good shops, bars and restaurants. Off street parking wasn't a problem for us. Hotel friendly, basic and clean. Free wifi. All ok but the tiniest bathroom I've even seen!

Spent a few days in Caen with our 8 year old grandson for the 75th anniversary of D Day. This hotel was ideal as our room was in effect two connecting rooms. The welcome was excellent and throughout they were very helpful. The hotel is quite basic and that suited us fine as we wanted a base from which we... More

Stopped in here on our way from Paris to mont st Michael and had a very comfortable nights sleep. Whilst there is no lift, the stairs are wide enough and well lit, so there is no problems carrying your bags up, and the staff were happy to help as well. Wifi was handy and quick enough. The room was very... More

Great place to stay. Simple, but very friendly staff. Good services, wifi. Central in the cute little town, close to nice bars and restaurants. Didn't have any trouble with sounds from the street. No elevator, but aparently the staff is willing to carry your suite cases up. Breakfast is ok, not spectacular. Good value for it's price!

Very nice hotel conveniently situated in Caen . The only drawback is that it does not have an elevator. Your luggage is taken upstairs and downstairs for you so actually it is not that bad. They make you feel welcome. Parking is available in the nearby streets and municipal parking lots. We stayed there for three nights and never had... More

We took the overnight Brittany Ferry from Portsmouth to Caen Port, staying 1 night in Caen. I booked this hotel based off the ratings here on TripAdvisor and was really happy that I booked - so I am recommending it to others. We stayed just one night, since we were on our way to Paris but wanted to see the... More

We booked the suite (excellent value in a 2 star hotel). Had been recently renovated but bed sloped down as a result of the age of the hotel (floors not level). Extra pillows available but had to be asked for. Bathroom modern but awkward to use because of lack of space to put toiletries. Hand basin had no area around... More
