We stayed at the Hotel Tardif during our touring in Normandy. We had a lovely large room (double/twin elegance) on the first floor with a separate door that went out to the courtyard filled with flowers and greenery. We only regret not being able to take advantage of all that the Tardif had to offer since we were seeing the... More

I stayed in the Hotel Tardif in Bayeux for 2 nights in May of 2013 with 5 other women from my family. We had 2 rooms each accommodating 3 of us and we were thrilled with the whole experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully done. The entire inn was beautifully done and so welcoming. Anthony, our host, was... More

We recently stayed two nights at Hotel Tardif and found the owner, Anthony, quite charming and friendly. The location of the Hotel is perfectly situated in Bayeaux but it could use a little refreshing. While part of the charm of an old chateau is it's aged elegance, but there are small things that can make old not seem dreary and... More

We stayed here in November 2013 as part of a 3 month holiday in Europe. We were greeted by Anthony who made us feel very welcome; he was very friendly and always helpful. The room was very quiet even though we were basically in the centre of town; the breakfast was good. Having our own car, we appreciated the ease... More

I stayed in this beautiful guesthouse 9 months ago, and now I still miss it----miss the elegant garden, the classic furniture, the bird singing, the comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom...The most lovely memory was how I be treated. They give me keys for my room and the gate, so I can come and go at any time and never been... More

Fantastic old villa located in a park in the middle of the city centre. Easy access by car and parking on the premises. Villa/surrondings are old, very old. However everything is very well maintained and the whole property is very attractive. We got a very nice room (entrance on the top of the stairs in the main building). This room... More

My husband and I had very much looked forward to our stay at this hotel. It is very beautiful and quiet. We loved the garden and location in Bayeux. However, Anthony was quite rude to me on the phone when I called from Paris to confirm our stay. The connection was terrible and I couldn't hear him, so I disconnected... More

Madam, I definitly need to give my version of this story as i think you are going quite far. After you called here twice and did hang up on me each time, i simply called you back to know who was trying to contact me and i took care of all your requests prior to arrival. There was no anger... More

Le Tardif is a beautiful, centrally located guesthouse in Bayeux. It is a family run establishment with a sunny courtyard and walled gardens making it the ideal place to sit and read in the sun. It is within metres of the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Bayeux, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the High Street with it's shops, patisseries, restaurants and... More

We stayed here for three night in one of the suites while visiting and touring the Normandy area. Very nicely decorated and comfortable living areas. We certainly enjoyed our rooms as well as the breakfast. Antonio was super nice and helpful with local information. The place is in a great spot for accessing about everything in Bayeux. It's only a... More
