I stayed in this beautiful guesthouse 9 months ago, and now I still miss it----miss the elegant garden, the classic furniture, the bird singing, the comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom...The most lovely memory was how I be treated. They give me keys for my room and the gate, so I can come and go at any time and never been... More

Fantastic old villa located in a park in the middle of the city centre. Easy access by car and parking on the premises. Villa/surrondings are old, very old. However everything is very well maintained and the whole property is very attractive. We got a very nice room (entrance on the top of the stairs in the main building). This room... More

My husband and I had very much looked forward to our stay at this hotel. It is very beautiful and quiet. We loved the garden and location in Bayeux. However, Anthony was quite rude to me on the phone when I called from Paris to confirm our stay. The connection was terrible and I couldn't hear him, so I disconnected... More

Madam, I definitly need to give my version of this story as i think you are going quite far. After you called here twice and did hang up on me each time, i simply called you back to know who was trying to contact me and i took care of all your requests prior to arrival. There was no anger... More

Le Tardif is a beautiful, centrally located guesthouse in Bayeux. It is a family run establishment with a sunny courtyard and walled gardens making it the ideal place to sit and read in the sun. It is within metres of the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Bayeux, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the High Street with it's shops, patisseries, restaurants and... More

We stayed here for three night in one of the suites while visiting and touring the Normandy area. Very nicely decorated and comfortable living areas. We certainly enjoyed our rooms as well as the breakfast. Antonio was super nice and helpful with local information. The place is in a great spot for accessing about everything in Bayeux. It's only a... More

We were in bayeux to tour the d day beaches. This was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were great as were the hosts. If you are looking for a great location and great place to stay, this is the place. We also thought the rates were reasonable. We were there three years ago.

We had a very pleasant one-night stay in this very charming and quite guesthouse. We were looking for a triple room and got a spacious room where we could have stayed for much longer without problems.

We went there with our 2 kids in May: the place is beautiful: a castle which still has its warm and cosy atmosphere, very authentically preserved, the garden is beautiful and its the perfect location to walk in Bayeux or drive to D-DAY beaches. The rooms are big and beautiful, the bathroom is modern and the breakfast is nice. Our... More

We visited two years ago and were happy to return. Owner Anthony remembered us and ensured that we got the same lovely room we had last visit. He was again very helpful in helping us route our itinerary around Normandy. His restaurant recommendations were also top notch. We booked two rooms and both were very elegant. One was on the... We booked this place looking for a non chain hotel. This is a beautiful property and a great historic building. It is ideally situated between the tapestry and the cathedral. If you are looking for a fancy 5 star place look some where else. If you want a hotel that is clean and character this was the best place we... More
