Our trip did not start off well in Paris, but when we arrived at this charming Chateau, Anthony and his mother could not have been any more welcoming! They made us feel right at home, and showed us two of the loveliest rooms you can imagine(not to pick from, we needed two rooms)! The location is ideal for walking around... More

Monsieur and his mother run the inn. Very professional, courteous, kind, and ready to service any needs. This is an inn I would recommend to anyone looking for an experience to remember in France. It is not that much more expensive than other hotels but the experience is much better! Highly recommended. They were ready to lodge us last minute... More

My family and I just returned from two weeks in Europe, and spent two nights at this lovely guesthouse. We had two rooms, and both were clean and full of light. The breakfast spread was delicious, and I couldn't get enough of a specific vanilla yogurt in a glass bottle. Anthony, the owner, was extremely helpful and helped us plan... More

A charming 18th century old manor. The location is perfect, 100 meters from the 1000 years old Bayeux tapestry and same distance to the cathedral. Nice and pleasant service, wifi in common rooms and a good price to quality ratio, including free parking on the premises.

The guest house is located in an ideal spot in Bayeux for both exploring the town and the WWII sites. The room and grounds were lovely. Anthony, the proprietor was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

We spent 2 nights here in May and found both the location and the host interesting and congenial. We enjoyed talking to the other guests over a lovely breakfast. With Anthony's advice we were able to make the most of our short stay by selectively visiting some of the historic places. We could easily have stayed longer and hope to... More

My son and I left Paris for Normandy Beaches and Mont Saint Michel. We stayed one night at Tardif. The guesthouse is wonderful. Anthony does a wonderful job as host. The rooms are clean and beautiful- old-world charm! Breakfast was perfect. We had croissant/baguette, meats, cheeses and coffee. The property is perfectly located to visit anything in Bayeux and a... If you are going to Bayeux and Normandy, this is the perfect place to stay. We were only steps from the Cathedral and the Tapestry. The noble manor house is filled with antiques which took us back in time. Le Tardif is located in a beautiful garden where you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Also, it has... More

Our amazing time in Normandy was made possible by Christopher! he was very attentive and provided excellent advice and coordinated our D-Day/ Mont- St. Michel Tour! We stayed in the Charles De Gaul room, which slept four very comfortably. The Hotel location literally across from the cathedral, and down the street from the Tapestry museum is optimal. The sleep we... More

This is my favorite small inn/B&B of the many I have stayed in throughout the world. Location is near the center of this lovely little medieval town and a perfect location for fanning out to see the Normandy Beaches and Mont Saint Michel as well as the beautiful Normandy countryside. The inn itself is a beautiful facility, has gorgeous antiques,... More
