The Hotel Tardif is perfectly located to visit the magnificent cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry, restaurants and shopping. I loved the large garden so that you feel you are in the tranquil countryside. The large house is beautifully decorated in a traditional French manor which is important to me rather than staying in a modern, you could be anywhere hotel. Anthony,... More

This hotel is traditional and could not be better positioned for the town, the Cathedral and the famous tapestry. It is furnished with antiques and, apparently the room we had was used by general Charles de Gaule after the 1944 D Day landings. The host, Anthony, is a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable man. The excellent continental breakfast is served... More

I stayed here with my grandfather in April 2015, and we were amazed at how beautiful, historical, and helpful the hotel and Anthony were. We had lovely (and big!) breakfasts each morning, and were in the perfect location to go anywhere in town, even the train station. The hotel, although an old building, is incredibly modern and the rooms are... More

I stayed at the Hotel Tardif in 2010 with my mother and my cousin. We had a triple room that was lovely. Before our trip I had some correspondence via email with Anthony Voidie, the proprietor. He was always prompt in his replies and very helpful. The hotel is an old manor that has beautiful, comfortable rooms and a lovely... More

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Tardif Noble Guesthouse and were so pleased with our stay. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a huge bathroom. The room was on the second floor and was a room that Charles DeGaulle stayed in back in 1944. The hotel is right by the cathedral and within walking distance to... More

Lovely place to stay, central location ideal for the tapestry and D-Day experiences. Lots of choices for food in the town. Anthony is a very friendly and helpful manager. Would 100% book again, can highly recommend!

We stayed at Hotel Tardif and it was a perfect location and charming place. This really set the scene for our entire experience in France. Would stay there again and highly recommend it. This a perfect location to visit the beaches at Normandy. Great area full of history.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here, it's virtually opposite the tapestry and just a short walk to some lovely restaurants. We were made to feel welcome, stayed in a very clean french style bedroom and there was plenty of parking too. There is no TV and wifi but when you are in such a lovely location it is just... More

The hotel was perfectly situated for the tapestry and Bayeux itself. The beaches and museums are also within easy reach. Anthony is a perfect host and the hotel is very quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. We had a lovely big room, very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Tardif Noble for 2 nights and enjoyed it. It was truly a unique experience to stay in a noble house; our host, Anthony, is so helpful and accommodating. The location is very convenient - we would definitely love to stay there again when we go back to Bayeux.
