We spent a night at the Villa Aggarthi. The room was nice, quiet and comfortable. The owner greeted us and gave us lots of info about places to go for dinner in town. He was very friendly. He also served breakfast the morning after, which was excellent. The place is very nice, the owner very friendly and the location very... More

We spent one night there. The staff was very, very helpful and serviceminded. It s an older but very charming building. There is no lift to help you with your suitcase, but we survived :-) We got a parking space inside. Room was large and clean and the wifi worked to our satisfaction. Breakfast was very good and plenty. Location... More

We were desperate to find lodging with 3 beds in Bayeux and ended up here! We are not normally B&B people but Villa Aggarthi worked out alright. The room we stayed in needed some updating, new bedding/towels and fresh paint would do wonders. Not bad considering the age of the building but some updating would make it amazing. There was... When we made the reservation through Hotels.com in early Jan the information we got was that there wouldn't be a cancellation fee and our card wouldn't be charged until check out. When our travel plans changed on 1/18 and we cancelled the reservation we found out that our credit card had been charged for the full amount and that we... More

We just got back from three nights in Bayeux and had a wonderful time in great part because of our experience at Aggarthi. Great location only minutes walk to the Cathedral and restaurants. Myriam and her kids were top notch hosts and I still am disappointed every morning since leaving there when I come downstairs for breakfast. What a delicious... More

If you want a French experience, in a modest but warm and welcoming B&B then look no further. A very friendly welcome from Pierre, awaited us from behind a set of large red gates. The rooms are modest but very clean, with a lovely garden to sit and relax in or have your breakfast, weather permitting. It is run by... More

What a lovely warm welcome we got at Villa Aggarthi. Our first siting of the B&B was a large set of red wooden gates amongst a row of houses. A little unsure of what awaited us we rang the bell. When open it revealed a large house, with an annex, a lovely garden with some beautiful plants, a patio area... More

This place is a little quirky, to be sure, but our room was comfortable and clean. Pierre, the innkeeper, gave us a friendly welcome, directed us to Bayeux's attractions, gave dinner recommendations, and made sure our car was secure for the evening. Breakfast was ample and tasty and accompanied by great conversation with our host and other guests. When we... More

The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location for the city, tapestry and cathedral...all a 5 minute walk. The accommodations are simple and in need of some tender love and care (paint). Our room was on the top floor and we loved the fan but the tiny winding staircase was challenging with large luggage. The floors were dirty as... More

Villa Aggarthi was a perfect place to stay in Bayeux. It is very conveniently placed for the tapestry, cathedral, restaurants, train station and the cemetery which are all within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. A good breakfast is served in a lovely room at a communal table and there is a delightful garden with view of the... More
