We had lunch here on our first day in Bayeux and i have to say it was of a very good standard.. even something as simple as a croque monsieur, possibly the best i have ever had. Would definately recommend. It is also in a lovely location.

What a fantastic hotel and restaurant(crepes were divine!). Great prices, lovely room(also the charming room 17 on the top floor) and welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed here for three wonderful nights. Very nice room - absolutely spotless! Small bathroom, but the shower was nice. A great place to stay, the room we had on the first floor had a new bathroom, very modern in design, and very clean. The housekeeping was excellent, & lightning fast, completed each morning while we ate Breakfast downstairs, which was excellent value & delicious.

We went searching for a restaurant the first night in Bayeux. Cold, rainy, dreary, windy...we saw the Hotel Reine Mathilde and their bright, cheery restaurant and went inside.
