This was a nice, quiet hotel in great location for walking to see the churches, War Museum and Cemetary and the Tapestry in Bayeux. Host was very helpful and made us maps of how to find all the things we wanted to see.

A budget hotel that has been updated and re-decorated. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything you need, very pleasant helpful staff and only a twenty minute walk from the city centre. Easy to find, well situated for visiting the D-Day beaches. Booking online was relatively easy despite their mix-up between Bayeux and Bayonne ! You may struggle with the shutters.

Don't expect the ritz but this is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting the d-day sites or the Bayeux Tapestry. It's a nice and simple hotel with loads of free parking on site and a 5 minute walk into the City Centre which has plenty of lovely restaurants. The rooms are small (but are huge compared to... More

A budget hotel which was good value for money. We stayed with our 8 year old daughter and the room was cosy with 3 beds in it but clean and the beds were comfortable. There was free wifi and a hair dryer in the bathroom, though only one bath towel per person. The hotel was conveniently located walking distance from the... More

We cheaped out on this hotel in order to splurge on a five star at our next hotel in Rouen. We weren't expecting much for the cheap price. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the room was very small. The soap provided was in dispensers on the wall. The beds weren't large. Our room was practically subterranean, being on the ground... More

There are no frills here, but we thought the deal we got for dinner bed and breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable, bathroom adequate (and clean) free wifi worked and it was a quiet location very convenient to walk into town, the tapestry and the D day cemetery (very moving). Dinner is not earth shattering but it was pleasant,... More

Clean rooms, basic, but restaurant poor, food poor and staff have no patience at all, want you in and out, it was so poor we decided to have breakfast at the La Grande Manager in Bayeux, now that is a lovely place and they do B&B for €60 a night for a double room, width I had known before I... I had an average guest experience at the Campanile in Bayeux. Under the beds they were quite dusty and some black mould in the bathroom. As with many campanile hotel rooms it did come with air condition. Although we did receive a friendly welcome when we checked in.

Loved this hotel! Room was bigger than a lot we have stopped in in France . It had air conditioning , tea and coffee making facilities and could even get BBC 1 and 2 on the tv! Plenty of car parking and just a 10 minute walk to the cathedral , would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located just outside old town Bayeux, very easy access to and from all D-Day sites. Free and nice car parking. It's 5 minutes walk into town and a very enjoyable one, overlooking a beautiful meadow with cows and a very nice view to the Cathedral, really pleasant. The rooms are basic and a little older but clean, quiet, comfortable... More
