There are no frills here, but we thought the deal we got for dinner bed and breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable, bathroom adequate (and clean) free wifi worked and it was a quiet location very convenient to walk into town, the tapestry and the D day cemetery (very moving). Dinner is not earth shattering but it was pleasant,... More

Clean rooms, basic, but restaurant poor, food poor and staff have no patience at all, want you in and out, it was so poor we decided to have breakfast at the La Grande Manager in Bayeux, now that is a lovely place and they do B&B for €60 a night for a double room, width I had known before I... I had an average guest experience at the Campanile in Bayeux. Under the beds they were quite dusty and some black mould in the bathroom. As with many campanile hotel rooms it did come with air condition. Although we did receive a friendly welcome when we checked in.

Loved this hotel! Room was bigger than a lot we have stopped in in France . It had air conditioning , tea and coffee making facilities and could even get BBC 1 and 2 on the tv! Plenty of car parking and just a 10 minute walk to the cathedral , would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located just outside old town Bayeux, very easy access to and from all D-Day sites. Free and nice car parking. It's 5 minutes walk into town and a very enjoyable one, overlooking a beautiful meadow with cows and a very nice view to the Cathedral, really pleasant. The rooms are basic and a little older but clean, quiet, comfortable... More

The overstretched staff work hard to compensate for the severe shortcomings of this hotel. In need of serious renovation (and providing more staff in the restaurant), the overall impression of the accommodation is of an army barracks left over from the 1950s.

Nice, queit setting, close to all the area attractions. Rooms are older, but clean. beds were good. No alternative language tv, no fridge in room. staff was very nice and friendly. The stay was nice and I would recommend it in this price catagory.

I must say I was a little concerned about the quality of the room when I finally was able to look at photos of our booking, however I was pleased at our accommodations, especially for the price. Having spent 4 nights in a cramped apartment in Paris with another couple we really appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of our own... More

It's ok but I expect better. Some black mould in the bathroom should have been addressed and also under the beds was dusty which aggravates asthma. This should be addressed and considering the place has a team of cleaners that seemed very active someone should be checking their work. The one good thing is that the shutters on the windows... Stayed for 2 nights. Very comfortable and one of the very few 3 star hotels we stayed in that had tea making facilities. Very handy to the town to view the beautiful tapestry and also close to the Normandy beaches
