This hotel is functional at best. The rooms are tiny and lack basics such as face cloths, curtains (they use roller blinds outside the windows), arm chairs and storage space. The restaurant serves good food but lacks finesse (eg they don't know how to cook a rare steak) and the staff are very, very, very slow. The wi-fi is so... More

We arrived lat in Bayeux and found ourselves needed to hotel rooms for our family. Campanile had an easy to check-in Kiosque that only accepted Bank Cards (no credit cards). The rooms were quite nice with little entrys, a built-in desk with an electric kettle, coffee, tea, and biscuits. The bathrooms were nice and spacious as well. The beds were... More

A small group of us spent the weekend here to visit in the area. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned and serviced daily. Reception very friendly and could not have been more helpful. An easy walk down to the Cathedral and centre so you can leave your car in the carpark. Great showers! Nice little town - highly recommend and would stay... More

We stayed at Campanile Hotel Bayeux for one night. We found the other hotels in the area way too expensive and decided on this one. We were not disappointed. The room was quite big with tea and coffee facilities. The aircon worked so well! It's more like climate control. It was a very cold day and the room was nice... More

My students, our chauffeur and I spent one night here last week. The rooms were mice, rather roomy for France, I found. The rooms were clean and there was a hot water machine with tea and coffee, a TV, desk and nice and hot shower. Loved the room darkening shutters. The staff was English speaking and very helpful. My students... More

Never again, this hotel is nice on the outside and terrible on the inside. It is about 500 yards from the train station, and taxis add extra money for a ride because it is so close. The rooms are standard, no elevators, and only two stairs far from each side of the hotel! The food at the hotel restaurant is... More

We stayed for 5 nights whilst touring the Normandy Beaches and Museums. The hotel is no frills, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is free wifi, ample free parking and a restaurant is available on site. This hotel is a short walk from the centre of Bayeux and from the Museum and cemetary. Overall a good value hotel.

Within five minutes of arriving at the Campanile we learned we would have to pay an additional 9 euros for breakfast. We were under the impression breakfast was included. Miscommunication...maybe? ..but it seemed like a way to charge extra. Then the rooms...just enough room to walk around, nothing more. That would be fine if the walls weren't paper thin (no... More

We stayed for 3 nights using Bayeaux as our base for touring Normandy. It has it's own car park and is a short walk into the town where there is plenty of choice for dining. As an overnight stop it would be fine but would not stay 3 nights again. It is reasonable value albeit the separate cost of breakfast... More

The Campanille Bayeux was easy to get to via driving. It is slightly outside the city centre so I would more highly recommend it if you are not intent on solely seeing the town of Bayeux, very good for the DDay Beaches. The staff was generally friendly. The rooms are a typical budget room in Europe- our room had 2... More
