Nice, queit setting, close to all the area attractions. Rooms are older, but clean. beds were good. No alternative language tv, no fridge in room. staff was very nice and friendly. The stay was nice and I would recommend it in this price catagory.

I must say I was a little concerned about the quality of the room when I finally was able to look at photos of our booking, however I was pleased at our accommodations, especially for the price. Having spent 4 nights in a cramped apartment in Paris with another couple we really appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of our own... More

It's ok but I expect better. Some black mould in the bathroom should have been addressed and also under the beds was dusty which aggravates asthma. This should be addressed and considering the place has a team of cleaners that seemed very active someone should be checking their work. The one good thing is that the shutters on the windows... Stayed for 2 nights. Very comfortable and one of the very few 3 star hotels we stayed in that had tea making facilities. Very handy to the town to view the beautiful tapestry and also close to the Normandy beaches

This is a budget friendly hotel in a central location to visit the Normandy D-Day sites and Bayeux Tapestry. We spent 7 nights here in a clean, cramped, simple room in Mid-May. Since we were concentrating on D-Day sites and following my Father's 2nd Infantry, the location was ideal. Bayeux is a lovely town to be headquartered near. Friendly staff,... More

We found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful as we had a problem concerning a lost passport. The staff called the embassy in paris for us and provided daily maps showing us where to go for what we wanted to see, The food was good and the rooms comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and had good walking tours to... More

We stayed here for a night to visit the Bayeau Tapestry and the D-day beaches. Accommodation is good, clean, tidy if a bit small. However, do not eat there. Poor food quality and service. Staff are not interested in quality service. Food is bland and not cooked correctly. Over priced for the quality and variety.

The Campanile was a pleasant place to stay while my wife and I visited war memorials and museums in the area. The property is a short walk to the center of Bayeux, where there are plenty of options for food or beverages. Plus, Bayeux has the beautiful Cathedral de Notre Dame, and the Bayeux Tapestry. The staff at this property... More

Situated just 10 min walk from Bayeux town center, just off a main road, great location, convenient for the cathedral ,tapestry and restaurants. Rooms are small and basic but very clean, tv,kettle, tea, coffee, clean bathroom and adequate towels. There is a restaurant onsite,a little pricey but good menu.front desk staff are very helpful, friendly and have excellent English. Ample free parking. Perfect for a... More

My wife & I have just returned from our first 6 day stay in France, we toured the landing beaches of the allied invasion in the second world war. Visiting museums and landing sites associated with that conflict, we also visited the war graves site in Bayeux, nearly 5000 allied soldiers buried there, very sad. We based our stay in... More
