10 minutes on foot from the station and the delightful town. Room very good, breakfast excellent - wide choice, served in a large, bright dining area. Staff very helpul and friendly. Bayeux is beautiful, the cathedral magnificent, Tapestry incredible, D-Day Museum great. Hotel and town highly recommended, especially to anyone wanting to visit the D-Day beaches (which was the purpose... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night only, as we were going to the D Day places the next day. The hotel is a very good option for staying there one night. It is close to the Bayeaux town where you can go for dinner or it has the possibility of having dinner right there. The rooms are really... More

This hotel is one of a chain and anyone who has ever stayed in a chain hotel will know that basically what you see is what you get. I was with a party of friends and colleagues visiting Bayeux and the sites of the D Day landings. The hotel provided us with a simple, good value place to stay for... More

This was a pleasant stay for us. It was close to the Normandy Beaches so very convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant on the hotel property was excellent and convenient at the end of the day when we did not feel like travelling into town to eat dinner. The room was small like all rooms in France... More

As most seasoned Francophiles will know, France has numerous hotel chains along her many main roads and autoroutes, along the lines of Ibis, Formule, Campanile etc. Our hotel in Bayeux was a Campanile. We've been driving through France for years, so have come to know what to expect when booking these 'stopover' hotels - clean and tidy, Bayeux Campanile was... More

We had three nights in this hotel. Reasonably priced, and good breakfasts. Located just outside the centre of town, and only a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral and the Bayeux tapestry museum. As well as several restaurants and other sights. The room was good as well as the beds, and a good bathroom. It was not top standard, but... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night so we could visit the tapestry. It is perfectly fine and clean with conveniences like a tea and coffee maker in the room. It is a 10-15 minute walk into town with a nice cafe restaurant on site if you don't feel like going out.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May. We wanted to tour the Normandy area battle sites and Mont San Michel. The hotel is older and the rooms small; however, great location for seeing the WWII landing sites, cemetery and museums. It was an emotional, memorable journey. The hotel has an outstanding restaurant, as good... More

This was a solid value hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, taking the time to assist us in finding the rendezvous point for our Normandy tour. The only problem we had was getting to the hotel from the train station and back again. If you are walking like we were there are no sidewalks most of the way... More

Clean and comfortable room, with a nice position overlooking fields and across to the Cathedral. Only a 10 minute walk into Bayeux, which is a lovely town with plenty of character. Reception staff were helpful, and we had a good value buffet meal in the busy restaurant. Good value for money for a trip to Normandy.
