This is a great little place. The proprieter speaks English if required. The rooms while not large are adequate, the bed is firm but comfortable, and most importantly it does not have the ubiquitous rubber undersheet on the bed. Stayed at the Mogador the last week of October. I found the room to be clean, and spacious enough for my wife and I. I thought the service was excellent with the staff doing everything to ensure our stay was a good one. The breakfast had a good selection which included cereal. Stayed here while cycle touring - the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and insisted on us bringing our bikes through the building to store securely inside. The hotel was recommended as a mid price hotel in the Globe Trotter. The owner and his wife were according to this guide very pleasant people. After my visit I can only agree with this guide. If you dont mind the view but do care about a quiet night, book a room in the back of the hotel. more
