This is a great little hotel for a base to view all the Normandy beaches and sites. Very clean and comfortable, with good beds and shower. We ate breakfast at the bakeries nearby and also bought sandwiches before heading out to view the sites. more

This is a great little place. The proprieter speaks English if required. The rooms while not large are adequate, the bed is firm but comfortable, and most importantly it does not have the ubiquitous rubber undersheet on the bed. It has blankets so you can manage your warmth. The only drawback is that it has stairs that you need lug... more

Booked three rooms, all at the rear via a pleasant little courtyard, so no noise problems whatsoever. Rooms were fine, if a little dated (orange carpets!) - clean, comfortable and warm once we got the electric heaters going. Breakfast on both days was simple and fine - a croissant each with plenty of baguettes and jam. Owners were very friendly... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. The room were nice and clean. The people at the hotel are very friendly . You get good breakfast at a decent price. Stayed at the Mogador the last week of October. I found the room to be clean, and spacious enough for my wife and I. I thought the service was excellent with the staff doing everything to ensure our stay was a good one. The breakfast had a good selection which included cereal. You can get breakfast nearby at a cafe... more

We were very happy with this hotel. Well located. Friendly owners. Good breakfast. We were on the top floor in a lovely room with dark rafters and a sloping ceiling. No lift, but a cute stairwell. Good value. more

Stayed here while cycle touring - the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and insisted on us bringing our bikes through the building to store securely inside. The room was nice, although there were some quite noisy people nearby when we tried to get to sleep - I'm not sure whether they were other guests or in a neighbouring building,... more

The hotel was recommended as a mid price hotel in the Globe Trotter. The owner and his wife were according to this guide very pleasant people. After my visit I can only agree with this guide. If you dont mind the view but do care about a quiet night, book a room in the back of the hotel. more
