Valarie the host is lovely and helpful. Home made jam and cakes for breakfast. A nice room in a very old part of the city centre which is very convenient for the main shopping /restaurant street. I would go there again.

If you are looking for a central location in Bayeux for popular sights and a good night sleep, look no further than this B&B. Valerie, the hostess, speaks English and can assist with restaurant suggestions, things to see in Bayeux and tourist brochures. The breakfast buffet provides sufficient selections. The sparsely-furnished room we had was spacious enough for a couple.... More

We were very fortunate to have stayed with Valerie. We were able to book all three rooms. Each was lovely, with its own identity. The rooms are all away from the street, in a very private, quiet courtyard for guests and family only. The included breakfast was delicious, and more than we could want. Valerie made us feel so welcome,... More

Traveled to Bayeux for a D-Day tour and found this local B&B. Our train arrived late and Valerie and her children were waiting for our family outside the front entrance of her home. She recommended several restaurants in the town, the tapestry museum and the cathedral. Our rooms were clean and perfect for our needs. They are building a new... More

We travelled with another couple and chose this accommodation because other places were already booked, but this was a very good location near the main restaurant and shopping strip and a short walk to the famous Tapestry. Our room was small and spartan, with an extremely low bed, and no chair. If you have ageing joints it is hard to... More

Outstanding owners, but rooms are basic, sterile accomodations. As mentioned in previous reviews, we had the room with one bed downstairs and the master bedroom with bed, bunk beds, and bath upstairs. The spiral staircase in my opinion is very steep and narrow almost to the point of being dangerous for younger children or senior citizens. Rooms were on the... More

We had trouble finding a room in Bayeux therefore took the Quad room although we only needed 1 bed. The master bedroom was upstairs and the other bedroom was located downstairs.. Bunk beds were also located in the master bedroom. The steps going up stairs were steep and narrow requiring extra care. The bathroom was very basic and the lighting... More

Valèrie was wonderful. The rooms were charming, cozy, clean and right on the main street. It was close to the train station, the famous tapestry and the beaches and Mont St. Michel tour pickups. I can't wait to go back.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights in July, Valerie was a very accommodating hostess and provided us with lots of good information before and during our visit. We were actually a bit early when we arrived, I phoned Valerie and the room was ready so she met us and allowed us to go ahead and check in.... More

Located a short distance from the train station (a decent walk, but with luggage the 10 Euro taxi is worth it), this B&B has everything you need. The main Bayeux attractions are minutes on foot. Also makes a great base for touring the D-Day beaches. It's right on the main strip, so finding restaurants is a breeze. The staff is... More
