Visiting our daughter who works in Normany, we wanted a bayeux based hotel. I had spotted this hotel on a previous visit, and was able to get us booked in last minute. Superb Hotel with air condition room on the 1st floor. Full of charm, lovely staff and a terrific central location. Thoroughly recommended and we will stay here again... More

We stayed for one night at the Churchill after an all day tour of D-Day sights. We were not expecting much from the hotel other than a clean place to stay, comfortable beds and air-conditioning. We requested and received a room with four beds. Oddly enough, our room was located outside of the hotel in the courtyard next to table... More

We arrived in Bayeux in the teaming rain and were welcomed by the friendly Staff at the Hotel Churchill. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and when my husband left his hat in the restaurant on departure, a very nice lady ran out after him to the car to return it. The gentleman at the desk... More

The Churchill is a gem! It is located centrally in Bayeux and is convenient to all major attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They phoned restaurants for tables, directed us "the back way" to the Tapestry museum, knew all the parking hours and regulations, and were friendly and kind. Our room was a family room - a double... As a travel pro at DM Vacations I rate hotels based on the quality a hotel advertises itself. This hotel is a good first class European hotel. Rooms are large and have the features you would expect including a/c which is important in the summer here. The breakfast are not included and it is the standard continental breakfast with hard... Ten days ago, I spent 1 night in this small, charming, quiet hotel in the heart of Bayeux, France. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Their recommendation of Normandy Sightseeing Tours for a visit to Omaha Beach was spot on. The hotel is 2 blocks from the Tapestry museum which is a MUST!

The Hotel Churchill has an excellent location in the heart of Bayeux surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel is an old building but well kept and very clean decorated with WW II memorabilia. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. They have a "family" room for 4 people in the attic very nice with a spiral staircase... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Normandy beaches. Great location, near many restaurants & shopping area. Pick up area for most tours very near hotel. Very quiet, clean & comfortable. Served nice European style continental breakfast. Personnel were very helpful. Easy walk to train station or very short taxi ride. Lots of historical photos in lobby & artifacts.... More

My Dad and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and well-decorated. We stayed in the small building right across from reception. Our room was very large and very quiet! The wifi was free and worked great. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a... More

This hotel is in an older building, but the rooms are very well maintained. The furniture is traditional, but it's not shabby or worn and it's clear that someone is paying attention to the details. The room size is typical European... I had a room with a king bed, and there was probably 4 feet on each side and at... More
