Group of 12 adults, we spent 3 great nights at this lovely hotel. Wonderful location and staff. Very old world and charming, everything I look for in a hotel in Europe. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was great when we wanted to have our happy hours in the afternoons.

This hotel was in a very central position - right in t heart of t town. It was expensive for what it offered. No air conditioning was not great when it's warm and outside was noisy so leaving a window open onto t street was noisy. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel offered a good shuttle bus service... More

Great English type of hotel in a n old french house converted so beautifully located that it is out of this world. There is no lift but plenty of ambience outside and so convenient to all the streets of Bayeux and its many attractions in Normandy. Very friendly service.

This is a great hotel footsteps from the Cathedral and the Bayeux Tapestry. The staff are incredibly helpful. They directed us to free parking, restaurants, and local tips. We could hear people in other rooms (snoring) but otherwise a very nice stay. We opted out of the buffet. Outside the hotel is the main street in Bayeux full of shops... More

My parents, my husband, my daughter, and I stayed at the Hotel Churchill August 1-5, and it really was a lovely place. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff pleasant and helpful, the hotel serves a delicious breakfast, and the day we had a couple of hours between sight-seeing and dinner, we really enjoyed drinking cider on the patio. We... More

I stayed at Hotel Churchill from July 24 until July 27. A very charming hotel with a very nice staff. I stayed at room 200. Absolutely ok, although it has a strange long-stretched design. There is no lift at the hotel, so be careful if you have heavy suit cases. The breakfast was very good. International New York Times was... More

This hotel was the most expensive we stayed in during our vacation in Scotland, England and France. Rooms are not soundproof (staircase was very noisy) which may deter some people but this did not worry us. For the cost I was very disappointed that the hot water was only lukewarm. I thought that perhaps the water would be hotter if... More

Hotel Churchill is delightful! The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location was ideal. Make sure to check out the beautiful French linens in the Hotel Churchill Boutique run by Mme Carole Helo!

I stayed here during my one night in Normandy. This feels like more of a boutique hotel or a B&B - a good thing, in my opinion. The location is central to everything. I had a tour of the American beaches the next day, and the meeting point was a very short walk from this hotel, making things convenient.
