As the name may imply this hotel is decorated with a lot of WWII memorablia. We had a nice stay and enjoyed both the breakfast buffe and an afternoon drink in the sunny backyard very much. There are a public parking lot in the back where you have to feed the meters 9-12 and 14-19. Excellent wifi

My husband and I had a delightful 2-night stay this past week. After an easy walk from the train station, we received a warm welcome and a were shown to a clean and comfortable room with excellent free wifi. The room itself was in very good condition; nicely decorated and fresh. The bathroom was small, but just fine, bright and... More

My daughter, son and I had great time the Churchhill Hotel. Eric is friendly, knowledgable, has a good sense of humor, and his English is excellent. Our room was immaculate, spacious, with an area to sit outside and enjoy the local wine. Location was excellent where you can walk to restaurants, shopping and a laundromat across from a wine bar.... Three nights at the Churchill Hotel and we would certainly book it again. The location is perfect for walking to the Bayeux Cathedral, the Tapestry Museum, grocery store, restaurants, shops and the pick up place for all tours. All of these were within 3 blocks of the hotel. The train station is a short walk or you can get a... More

Patricia, who turned out to be an owner, was very accommodating in wisking us to our room and assuring us that they would keep an eye on the gentleman who had wanted to share a cab, or when we decided we would just walk - decided he would walk with us to the hotel...at which point we decided we needed... Stayed at Hotel Churchill this March with my daugther. Very accomodating staff. Great location. Set us up with a wonderful tour guide for the WWII sites. Parking at hotel a big plus in Bayeux ! Right near tapestry museum and cathedral. Good restaurants close as well. Wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms had been recently remodeled. The photos on the walls are fascinating, take time to look. The staff is very knowledgable and always had a recommendation of a great place to eat. The breakfast was fairly standard European, but the quality was good.... More

My first contact was with Daniel at The Churchill. He was extremely helpful and between us we organised 50th birthday banners to be put up in our room as we stayed at The Churchill for my husbands 50th birthday celebrations. Upon arrival we met the hoteliers Eric and Patricia Pean. What a lovely couple, so warm and friendly and very... More

This is a charming hotel. All the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel is fascinating and contains an extensive collection of pictures and memorabilia connected to the 1944 Normandy landings. The location is great. Highly recommended.
