Stayed here in January and had Room No: 1 which was a huge room with desk , fireplace (decorative only) fridge and massive bathroom with shower. Dinner was good and the complimentary starters were fabulous but some dishes better than others. Only disappointment with dinner was quite a few wines were not available , but probably understandable being the off... More

My husband and I stayed three nights here in December 2014. Upon arriving we first noted that the grounds were gorgeous. Decorated with Christmas lights the hotel looked lovely. We were given a room in the newly renovated barn building, which was nice and modern but wasn't what we were looking for when we booked a room at a chateau.... More

We stayed here in late December and chose it because a lot of the other options were closed for the season. However, we couldn't have chosen a better spot. The old main chateau has been lovingly restored and the stables where we stayed have been turned into duplex family apartments. The fixtures were updated and quite elegant and the space... More

The manor is located in the middle of a lovely private park, which couldn't represent better the Normand countryside (flowers galore, little lake, it's almost a postcard) If you like the romantic side of a stay in an old manor, high ceilings, heavy fabrics go for it, and pick a sunny day, it's absolutely charming. But keep in mind that... More

Stayed before Christmas and garden illuminated by what seemed like millions of purple LEDs and lit swans. Friendly greeting when we checked in but dinner was a disappointment. We had to eat in the lounge because they had a function in the main dining room and the food was well presented but poor in quality. Bed was incredibly comfortable but... More

Great manor house style hotel in lovely quiet garden setting 10 min walk from train station and 10 min walk from town. Very comfortable rooms and beds and lovely staff that were extremely helpful. Restaurant was nice.

After being jammed into a room too small in Paris the two floor family room at the Chateau was a welcome break. Internet was quirky (only 6 hours per code then must ask for another access code). Ample parking area, good access to town.

We were looking forward to staying at a chateau, but the rooms in the barn section were not nearly as charming as we expected. The setup of the bathroom was odd and inconvenient, as the toilet and extremely small sink were downstairs and the shower was upstairs. The ventilation was inadequate, with only one small window on the middle floor.... More

Returned just over a week ago having visited with a group of 8 others. The hotel's grounds are delightful and maintained to a standard appropriate to it's situation with a few tables and chairs available in the front of the building and a car park situated to the side of the building. On the ground floor are the reception/lounge/dining areas,... More

We booked 3 nights B&B at this hotel via a deal on the Brittany Ferries website. It is a typically French château in beautiful grounds with a running stream. Our room was comfortable with a large en-suite bathroom though the two bedroom lights didn't kick out enough wattage to be able to see the contents of the wardrobe. It was... More
