It appears that the brunville and Luxembourg are now merged into one entity. The hotel is in a good location right in the centre of town about 5 mins walk from the cathedral and maybe 10 mins walk from the tapestry museum. There is secure parking which is very good and rare in an old town location. The hotel has... More

Certainly no more than an average, budget, city centre hotel, but the staff are great and the location is excellent. The restaurant was OK and reasonable value. The rooms were small and basic. Parking is private and handy.

This hotel was ideal for a 2 night break in Bayeux. Central location within walking distance of the cathedral, tapestry and restaurants. The room was small but adequate, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small, only negative was that the shower was so powerful it soaked the carpet! Private parking was a bonus, we arrived early enough to get... More

This is the worst hotel that we have stayed in for many years, despite its pricey €140 per night. The room was very small but the worst feature was the bathroom. It was both small and had very outdated fittings; the light was so poor that shaving or making up was almost impossible; the loo was smelly, had not been... More

We were very relieved to be able to get a room in Bayeux on the day and without reservation and in that context were pretty forgiving of this fairly basic hotel. No frills room, a little tired in decor. The lobby fishtank looked like a place no fish would wish to reside in... On the plus side: beautifully central; manger... More

My son and his partner booked this hotel for them and us for our journey to Normandy. Firstly we parked our hire car in the public car park which sits beside the hotel (couple of Euro) and then set off in search of the entrance to the hotel. The sign on the door re-directed us to the another hotel just... More

I was on a solo trip to Bayeux for a night and booked a room at this hotel. I took the train and walked to the hotel (20 minutes). I went to the address listed on the hotel website and my confirmation; however, when I arrived at the location there was a sign on the door telling me to go... More

The location is good but the building is awful and we where guided to the hotel next door for reception. We think this hotel is in-between new management. The Luxembourg reception did not know we had reservation for a room and a table at the restaurant. We had to show our copy of the e-mail with confirmation to get things... More

Average seems to be the word for eveything. The welcome was neither friendly nor unfriendly. They lost our booking but found another. They room they gave us was very small so i asked for a larger one. They obliged but it had its down sides. The wifi was very poor, the showering arrangements barely adequate and the room a bit... Two main points 1.Although it shows there is BBC & CNN in actual fact there is not any english speaking TV channels available - 2. NO free wifi - and it costs 7 EURO PER HOUR if you want to connect. Bayeux has not a lot to do - the shops open late (around 10am) and at night not much... More
