Stayed at this hotel recently. Friendly staff, nice clean room. Attracts an older type of customer - some groups, but its right in the centre of Bayeux and you can walk around the town from here no problem. Breakfast was pricey and I ate out in the morning. I didn't have a car but customers were charged to leave their... more

Myself and three others stayed here for 4 nights in June. It is in a great location, right next to the main street in Bayeux and close to 2 markets. We were not impressed by the service at all. The staff did not appreciate our business and were incredibly rude when we asked them any questions. Rooms were tiny and... more

We only stayed here for one night so it was all we needed. It was easy to find if you follow the signs and its in a good location. The service was ok. One of the young girls at the reception had a real attitude problem and couldnt even tell us where the bus depot was. The room was good... more

We stayed recently at this hotel for two nights. We stayed in a large apartment room with delapitated beds and shabby furnishings--and I don't mean shabby chic. It was clean, however, and had an excellent location for sightseeing. There was a car park available, but it was always filled. The breakfast was in a charming room and was excellent and good... more

The hotel is nicely situated near the center of Bayeux within easy walking distance of the city center, cathedral, botanical gardens and especially the Bayeux Tapestry. Quick drive or longer walk to the war museum and other sites. It was clean and comfortable but had no free wi-fi. Free parking available on street near the hotel with a bit of... more

We were in Bayeux to explore the WWII sites. We stayed at the Best Western De Brunville from June 13-16, 2008. I made my reservations through the Best Western web site and I would recommend that you do the same to get the best rate. The hotel was okay. Don't expect luxury – although why would you if you are... more

We stayed here for two nights with a party of WW11 veterans whom we had brought to Normandy to see where they were all those years ago. This hotel is not very nice. No air con and the small room was so stuffy we had no choice but to have the windows open all the time. We had a room... more

We were in Bayeux to explore the WWII sights, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. We stayed 4 nights in mid-November. We booked a room with 2 twin beds, to avoid a small double bed directly through the best western website. The room was very small, but what you would expect for older European hotels.... more

This hotel was a nightmare to find as roads were blocked and everyone we asked didn't know where it was. I booked 2 single beds but when the room was next to elevator, we had to take a double bed room. The room was very small but clean. The bathroom was nice but no shampoo and no information in room.... more

We were looking for a clean, inexpensive room from which to visit the D-Day sites. Hotel de Brunville met our expectations completely. The room was only 75 Euros, clean and comfortable. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing fancy, but it was pleasant and exactly what we needed. My only complaint is that it was rather hot that night and with... more
