This is an overdue review. We spent our first night in France at this place and it exceeded our expectation. The Mansion is very unique and has so much character. We simply loved it. Breakfast was amazing and Bayeux and its surrounding was a top highlight of our five week trip across France. We were welcomed and service by one... More

Superbly located and well-run, this B&B lives up to its reputation. Everything was perfect. you're within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, Bayuex tapestry, and all of the top restaurants. You are also within easy striking distance of the Normandy beaches and museums. Given the quality of the room, we couldn't believe the price. We had the ground floor room... More

Traveling with 3 adults over Thanksgiving. No hotel suites available, so we decided to try 2 rooms at Sainte Victoire, based on Trip Advisor recommendations. I am sure glad I did. Castle tower rooms were great. Thankfully, daughter got to take the stairs. The decor in both rooms is beautiful. Someone has good taste. The owners were very accomodating and... More

So well deserved the #1 B&B. The room is massive, just stunning, with beautiful French style decor, ( you even got a small kitchen) and The bed is also really comfortable. Everything looks pretty. The hosts are friendly, big smiles and happy to help. The location is perfect, only few steps from the cathedral and great restaurants. What else could we... More

This B&B merits its rating as number #1. The rooms are lovely and inviting. Many of us Americans want to feel transported to another time and style and in this B&B we are. The decor is beautifully chosen. The beds are comfortable, a wonderful investment for a good night's sleep. The B&B is on a quiet little street steps away... More

This deserves its #1 B&B rating. Our room was in the beautifully renovated tower--all the modern conveniences but wonderful old-world historic touches were maintained. The room was spacious, large compartmented bathroom, convenient kitchenette. The breakfast was the best on our trip--fresh juice, bakery goods, fruits, home made Normandy pie that was our favorite food on the trip! Our 3rd floor... More

Our party consisted of a group of six who accommodated all three rooms at Le Manoir Sainte Victoire earlier in October. All of us are in agreement that staying the two nights in Bayeux ,rather than taking a day trip in from Paris, was a very smart decision. Jean Pierre was a wonderful host. The attention to detail that he... More

We stayed at Le Manoir Sainte Victoire with the reviewer below (Bluesprout61) as a group of 4. I agree with everything she has said. This is a really special place to stay and can find no faults. We had the Miro room on the first floor and it was wonderful. The hosts were extremely helpful and charming. We loved Bayeux... More

We stayed for four nights at Le Manoir Sainte Victoire. Bayeux is a great place to be based when visiting the Normandy D-Day and other World War II sites and Le Manoir Ste Victoire is the perfect place to stay in Bayeux. There are only 3 rooms - Cocteau on the ground floor, Miro on the first floor and Toffoli... More

We stayed at this wonderful little B&B for 3 nights. Jean-Pierre greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our rooms (we were traveling with another couple). We had the room on the ground floor of the tower and it was even more than we had hoped for! So warm and inviting....and large! Towels and pillows are all beautifully... More
