This hotel was lovely to stay in. Very traditional design of building, with exposed beams in the bedrooms and high ceiling in the dining room. Immaculately clean and although the rooms were relatively small, there was still plenty space for me. Bathroom well appointed. Breakfast was enjoyable although it was surprising there were no full-size croissants in a French hotel.... More

We stayed three nights at Hotel d'Argouges earlier this month. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a "superior" room so we had a huge amount of space, looking over the pretty garden in the back. We had breakfast at the hotel once and also some snacks - cheese and drinks - which the wonderful reception manager, Hanne, brought... More

We stayed here for three nights midweek. The room was clean . The parking was close and very safe. The reception rooms were stunning with beautiful old wooden panelling. More importantly the hostess and staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

The ladies at the front desk were wonderfully friendly and helpful (with reservations, recommendations, general info). They made us feel right at home with a warm greeting upon each return. The rooms were cozy and quiet, with updated bathrooms including rainshower heads (hair dryers could be updated). Beds were very comfortable and the room had an old world charm, overlooking... More

Lovely old chateau hotel at one end of the main high street in Bayeux. We had a very comfortable and quiet room overlooking the gardens at the back. The hotel is set back from the main road so the rooms would have been very quiet even at the front. Our bathroom was clean and modern. Private parking at the rear... More

What a find, just off the beautiful square in Bayeux close to the Cathedral and Tapestry We had an excellent rate and the room, which had a very modern bathroom was delightful overlooking the garden. Car parking on site made life a lot easier, and le patron was charming. Will be returning to Bayeux as we did not have time... More

This is a converted small French chateau with 26 rooms. Small family run hotel off main bayeux square. Walking distance to most of down town and cathedral. Overall a nice pleasant quiet hotel with the European romance charm people look for. It is tucked in behind the first row of buildings so a little hard to find. Room was small... More

Everything about this hotel was as it should be. Our room was lovely - well appointed, with a lovely modern bathroom with a large American-style shower. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The sheets were crisp, and every detail in the room was perfect! We opted to have the breakfast which was delicious - with a large variety of... More

An excellent hotel in Bayeux close to all you would like to see. A fabulous old town with plenty to see and do. Not far from the Tapestry and of course the normandy memorial and beaches. A very sobering visit to learn the brilliance of the allied invasion on D Day. The market out the front of the hotel was... More
