I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. We took a train from Paris to Bayeux, and a taxi from the train station (8 Euros), We visited the tapestry & cathedral (which were within walking distance). Buffet breakfast was delicious in the beautiful gardens. The next day we took a tour of Normandy (Bayeux Shuttle), and the... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. Our room was nicely outfitted with a newly renovated bathroom including a rainshower. The bed was somewhat hard, but not enough to prevent a good night's rest. The gardens were beautiful and a nice place to have a late afternoon drink. We found the staff helpful and efficient.

The Hotel d'Argouges has a wonderful location in the middle of beautiful Bayeux. It's on a bustling street, surrounded by shops and restaurants but, thanks to its recessed setting, provides the quiet haven you want in a hotel at bedtime. The facility is quite lovely and has plenty of protected, off-street parking. We stayed here at the end of May,... More

Staff was very helpful. We had made an error on the dates of our stay and they were able to make everything OK. Good breakfast, great location for Normandy beaches. Walking distance to all Bayeux points of interest and restaurants.

Let's begin with how charming Bayeux is! This hotel is very conveniently located on the main street in the town that is lined with shops, patisseries, boulangeries, and cafes. The hotel itself is lovely, it is exactly what you would expect in this quant little town. Our room was nothing special. There was no air conditioning (which I hadn't read... More

Dear Madam, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We wish to apologize if you have been offended. In our hotel, we have a bar, and we serve sandwiches, cheese and charcuteries. In the rooms, on the menus we mention "food and drink from the hotel are only allowed in this area". We ask to our... More

I stayed in Hotel d'Agrouges with some cycling customers and was very impressed with their efficiency dealing with our various requests to begin with. We were all very pleased with the welcome and the lovely bedrooms. A little area at the back to have a drink outside is very pleasant, it is also quite well located in Bayeux, very close... More

This former 18th century mansion has been transformed into a fine hotel. the rooms are not exceptional but certainly comfortable. The staff is wonderful, the location is perfect and the garden is a treat. We had 3 rooms for ourselves, our children and grandchildren and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was included and quite good.

We loved staying at this hotel and wish we could have been there longer. Great room, lovely garden, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and adorable bull dogs for our kids to play with! Wonderful off-street parking. Only drawback was that our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Nice and clean, friendly staff, great location. Walking distance to the entire city and a very distinct looking building. We did not try the restaurant at the time, but the overall facility was very clean and nice. We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Normandy. The staff could not have been nicer. Great location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and sights. The buffet breakfast was delicious and cocktails in the garden a lovely treat after a day of touring.
