This hotel was quite lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are not air conditioned however when we stayed there, it wasn't necessary. The one issue I did have was that the bathroom lights were on a short timer-so the lights would go out frequently while taking a shower-requiring one to flap their arms around to activate the... This is a beautiful hotel! My family (of 5) just stayed there in the superior apartment! There was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard with some wine and snacks. It was great to unwind and easy to access restaurants nearby for dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this... More

For a short family break, exploring the Bayeux area for the first time, this was pretty nearly perfect. The staff were all lovely, friendly but unobtrusive. The location central and very attractive; the building 'real French', so much nicer than a larger purpose built place. The room was slightly quirky, as we ended up with one of our girls on... More

Felt like we were was arriving home to our manor ..... Enjoyed the lovely grounds , a drink in the garden patio , like stepping back to a gentler , slower era . Professional , kind staff ; comfortable plush beds with gorgeous linens ; bathroom was modern & large. would go back anytime !

Very nice place for an overnight stay, rooms are a bit small but the bathroom was surprising large. The location was very convenient and we really loved the close walk into town. I'd stay here again! Breakfast was ok, beautiful grounds and place is well kept!

Located in the center of Bayeau, this small old hotel was very nice. We had a glass of wine in the garden, then walked downtown for dinner (no restaurant in the hotel). Centrally located with free secure parking. Nice breakfast, no air-conditioning. Would definitely stay again.

Bayeux is an underappreciated town in Normandy, and I was here during the Fete Musique (June 21, not to be missed) while on a bike trip through the region. As should be expected from a restored Chateaux, the room was fairly small but lovely; no elevator (and narrow stairways), but delightful views and the back garden where we had a... More

I loved this charming hotel! I wish I had used Bayeux as my only base for exploring Normandy/ Mont St. Michel. The hotel is set off the street in the center of town. It used to be a private mansion and still has the charm of a home. We stayed on the 4th floor in the building adjacent to the... More

We stayed here coming straight from the Ouistream ferry arrival at 2130, 45 minute drive. Hotel in the centre of the town with lots of parking. The rooms were clean and adequately serviced. Breakfast was better than the minimal French family hotel breakfast. Definitely would stay again

Fabulous old building that has maintained its charm whilst feeling very clean and sufficient for the modern traveller. Staff were superb and went out of their way to be helpful-very smiley folk who immediately put us at ease, despite my lack of French. Really relaxed atmosphere--seemed family run with a very personal touch. I didn't take the optional breakfast but... More
