We only stayed for one night with Brittany Ferries and though they had not received the request for a twin room from Brittany Ferries they fortunately had one free. Next time I would email the hotel directly! We haven't stayed in France before so I didn't know what to expect for breakfast. OK it wasn't full English but it was... More

A small charming quintessentially French hotel situated in the town centre (with free parking) so everything was a short walk away.It was everything we expected and more. Shame we could only stay one night!

Very nice hotel in an excellent position for a walk into town or drive to surrounding area. Continental breakfast OK. Only disappointment was no tea/coffe making facilities in the room, which is very poor by todays general hotel standards.

This hotel sits back from the street with a narrow driveway between other buildings. Beautiful older buildings and flowers. Private parking. Can walk to much of the old town including the huge cathedral. It is a 15 minute walk to the meeting point of many of the Normandy tours. Since my wife was using a walker, we had to switch... More

Nice hotel in this interesting quaint town. We enjoyed the hotel, the breakfast room and the garden area in the back where we had breakfast one morning. It has been remodeled & refurbished to most modern standards, and the public rooms are outstanding. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very good. Staff was all pleasant and helpful. There... More

I recently stayed in Bayeux for 3 nights while visiting the normandy battle sites. This hotel was reasonably centrally located and a 10 + minute walk to the center of town. The hotel is small, I think only has 20+ rooms and is in a very old building full of character and charm. The rooms are a bit small but... More

Easy to find and great to have free parking. Lovely looking hotel, it was a pity it rained so we couldn't enjoy the garden more. Our room was fine, no stairs to our room but this wasn't a problem and is common in Europe. If you want to stay in a lovely old building then don't expect a lift. The... More

We stayed here for four nights. The hotel is 3 star and in an 18th century building so there is no air conditioning or lifts, but it is charming nevertheless. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and gave us good recommendations for restaurants in the town. We didn't have breakfast, but did have drinks in the garden at the... More

Well-located, charming, and beautiful. The convenient private parking was a bonus since we had a biggish car. The restored 18th century dining room was exquisite and a special treat. The staff were attentive and friendly, and went above and beyond to meet our needs, even packed us a picnic lunch before we headed out to explore the D-day beaches, and... More

Charming place with helpful staff. Quite prepared to speak good English but also to tolerate our attempts at French. It was just the sort of place we wanted. Beautiful garden, which is where we had a lovely breakfast. I want their gardener to come to my house to sort the weeds as well as they have! Right by the main... More
