This hotel is on the ring road - perhaps a little further from the centre of town than is ideal - but within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant one evening, and breakfast each day which was of a high standard. All in all, this... More

This hotel was comfortable and clean, but it was a bit of walk into the town area where the restaurants and shopping were. On a warm day, this would have been a very nice stroll, but we were there when the weather was very cold and windy and it seemed to be a far distance to get to anything. The... More

We stayed in the hotels for a night visiting Bayeux and Normandy beaches. The hotel is conveniently located near the ring road, on the edge of the town. We did not attempt to walk to the town, though we could see the cathedral. The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. We would... More

If you're looking to explore Bayeux and the surrounding area, this place is excellent. It offers clean, comfortable accommodation in a good location. Rooms were nice with comfy beds and a decent bathroom. Only criticism would be the price of the drinks at the bar and the lack of a 'proper' barman but i suppose this is the case in... More

The hotel was clean, modern and centrally located. Nice size room for Europe, and free parking in their lot. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but tried out some of the local restaurants. Mercure is always reliable, clean and comfortable from our experience.

This hotel has excellent service, the rooms are large and accommodating with even two free bottles of water for guests. Wifi is free and works well. The restaurant is not expensive and excellent quality . There is a coffee maker in all rooms for a quick pick- up. Free parking for guests right in front of the hotel. WWII eternal... More

Even though we found Bayeaux to have much better public parking than other old cities, parking for the rental car was a key consideration and there's plenty at this Novotel. Access to the city is very good and 10-15 minutes gets one to the parking near the Tapestry. The restaurant was quite good and all the staff that we met... More

3 star , 5/10 The room was reasonably sized and quite nicely appointed. Queen sized memory foam matress , but the pillows weren't very good. Sits on a roundabout and major intersection. Our room had quite a bit of road noise. The staff in the dinning room at night and in the morning were quite abrupt , bordering rude. Breakfast... More

Dear customer, thank you for your comments about your stay there is 9 months ago. Since that time you spent in, our hotel is now in 4 star category and we renovate 100% of our rooms. In addition, our staff is highly sensitized to restaurant hospitality and service to our customers. I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you... More

The Novotel Bayeux is a spacious older motel at the end of the high street. The rooms and the en-suite are generously sized and the bed were in good condition. Breakfast was a choice of continental or american. There is plenty of car parking at the front of the motel. The city centre is a leisurely 10 minute stroll on... More

Ended up in Bayeux from Paris without any real plans. We had the taxi driver drop us off at a hotel from the train station and we ended up here! The hotel was very nice, modern and big (especially compared to Paris!). The hotel is kind of on the edge of town, but we walked into "downtown" multiple times which... More
