Good hotel, comfortable rooms, good food. Wifi was somewhat anemic, and it is quite a walk to the center of town. All in all good value for the money. Friendly staff, nice swimming pool, plenty of parking.

As a general touring base for this area of Normandy area it is fine , easy to get parked and get onto the main roads. As a base for Bayeux itself, it's a bit far out for just nipping not town, each walk is a bit of an expedition especially if it's rainy. Rooms are a bit basic , but... More

I stayed here two nights while I was touring Normandy. It was very near the British cemetary and the Normandy Battle Museum. It is also just a roundabout exit away from all the D-Day beaches and tours. The staff was very very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and basic. The only thing is there was little soundproofing for... More

Our room was clean, nice and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is well situated with just a 10-15 minute walk into Bayeux and good road connections for sightseeing in Normandy. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were very polite and helpful, they spoke excellent English but helped us practice our French as well!

I’ve stayed twice at this hotel once in June of 2004 and now in July 2014. Enjoyed both overnight stays. Pros: Large comfortable room, air-conditioning, very friendly staff, free parking. The hotel is also very convenient as a base to explore Normandy’s historical sites and a quick 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to a café or bistro for... More

Comfortable but basic room. Breakfast choices limited and because the big groups raided the food in the part reserved for private guests, things ran out very quickly. Excellent location and good parking.

We stayed here as part of a trip through France. At first glance this is not a great hotel, but once inside it's not bad at all. The rooms are of good size and have very comfortable beds and are very quiet. I especially like the toilet being outside of the main bedroom area in a separate lobby. The hotel... More

We generally use Novatel hotels because they have a reasonable standard and value. This is an exception though. The staff were friendly enough and 1st impressions after arriving in reception is good. However, the room are very basic and in need of a good refurbishment. We didn't eat there but chose the centre of town instead which is pleasant. It's... More

We used the Novotel for the base of our exploration of the D-Day beaches. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We were able to easily walk to the village center. Also there is a grocery store within walking distance.

We stayed here as part of a Battlefield tour with specific reference to D Day Commemoration. Location is handy to Omaha Beach & USA Cemetery. Check-in pre arranged, was fast & efficient. Room was comfortable but had a strange setup with a door between the toilet/wardrobe foyer and the bedroom. Toilet was separate and difficult to enter and shut the... More
