I arrived in Bayeux on a cold Sunday morning arriving by train from Paris. I hadn't booked anywhere in Bayeux thinking that due to the season (January) I'd get a room easily at the many small local hotels. I was wrong. Nothing was open. Thankfully, I saw that Bayeux had a Novotel and I knew that that would be open.... More

Hello. I bring a group here every May-Sept to visit the Normandy battlefields. This is a wonderful hotel with a very helpful staff, one that is very accomodating and helpful to large groups. The breakfast are of good quality (improved in 2014) and our group dinner was very good. I was told the hotel has a new chef - it... More

I picked a Novotel as it was one of the few hotels open in Jan and could offer rooms for 3 adults. I have also satyed at the chain before and found them soild enough. The Bayeux Novotel was ok, the decor both in the room and hotel were quite tired. We liked: plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff,... More

Stayed in this hotel for a visit to Normandy beaches. Had no problem with parking, reception staff were pleasant, good buffet breakfast with variety of meals, room was value for money with decent bathroom and a separate toilet. It would have been better if there was more bar space as we struggled to find space to have drinks, mainly because... More

This hotel is a long, boring walk from the center of Bayeux. The room size and the breakfasts are average but below the standards I have experienced in other Novotel hotels. What makes the buffet breakfast particularly unpleasant is the short flight of stairs between the buffet and most of the tables. Beware, anyone with balance problems who is used... More

The hotel is located in a quiet part of Bayeux ... away from anything boisterous. Rooms and bed are standard Novotel quality. Got to stay here for 3 days as part of a group to attend the Equestrian Games.

Stayed for 1 night. Very comfortable, large room and great value, included breakfast. Car spaces available. Approx 20 min easy walk to Bayeux town, very picturesque, lots restaurants to choose from. Large, busy hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would be very happy to stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Walking distance to town is a bonus and the parking is free. Nearby shopping centre to buy and food, water, wine etc. Great location and base to use for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms very very comfortable and the beds comfy. Could be warm so I left... More

Stayed for one night on an organized tour of France. The rooms are large, clean and the staff very friendly. The buffett breakfast had a good selection of items and the staff was quick replacing empty trays. It's close to the City of Bayeux and all the D Day cemeteries and monuments. It's a nice place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here four nights during our Normandy visit. The hotel and rooms are clean and of good size. The bathroom has a separate toliet. We did notice a strange odor eminating from the sink but did not appear to originate within the water system itself. I enjoyed opening the windows for breezes, but being of a... More
