We stayed here for one night in August and found the hotel quite adequate. The staff at the reception where friendly but not quite on the ball. They just seemed bored, but they were helpful enough. Our room was a good size, clean and quite. It was on the ground floor and we could open the window which was great.... more

Stayed 4 nights, the rooms are small especially when you have lots of luggage. The fridge in our room didn't work & when we mentioned it the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it. The food in the restaurant was not great, a few of us walked down to Mickey D's to grab some food. Shower had no... more

The rooms are extremely small and we booked a family room. The restaurant was verry bad, the quallity of the food was terrible and the price was to high. Why can this chef not working with fresh food of the region. We took the caesar salad as a starter and it was no ceasar salad as it should be!!! Also... more

Great location - walked from hotel to inner town, easy walk. Beautiful city. Location also near drop off and pick up points for tours of D-day beaches, etc. Hotel clean, staff personable, bar small but lovely. more

This hotel was absolutely fine to stay in for just a few nights, but I wasn't crazy about the bathrooms or the location. The water pressure was awful--it was difficult to really get clean. This hotel also uses glass panels about two feet wide to keep water from spraying out of the shower. I found that this was the same... more

Stayed one night on our way from Cherbourg to Cognac region. Hotel is in an excellent location- just a good 10 minute walk into the restaurants and shops. The hotel was very much what we have come to expect from Novotels- clean pleasant room and friendly helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast set us all up for the day- as with... more

Rooms were a bit small, but adequate for an overnight stay. Common areas needed improvement with cleaning. Elevators were extremely small. (one person with luggage) Staff were very friendly. Beverages free in the room. (nice plus) Nice pool in back of hotel. more
