There are plenty of other hotels in central Bayeux. Choose one of them. This hotel is not to recommend! I regret us staying here, we had booked (and payed for) a room with a shower - but we couldn't use it, it had blocked drains - we had to use a shared shower in the corridor. No compensation made, not... More

I packed up my three kids at 10pm and got out of there! They not only refused to refund my money for the night I left, but refused to accept my cancelation for the second night. It was rated "fair" on another site, but I am bummed I did not check TA before booking. After my experience I read the... More

This hotel isn't worth the low price it quotes. The staff seem more interested in catering to the restaurant downstairs than the hotel members. Even the entry to the rooms is through another corner entrance if the staff feels going through the restaurant might disturb the few paltry diners. The winding silly staircase has nothing remotely quaint about it while... More

We booked this hotel because we thought we were being economical and thrifty. It wasn't worth it. We thought it would work for one night...it was like camping. The toilet was in our room facing the bed (talk about romantic) with a shower down the hall. The door to the shower room didn't close properly, and since there was someone... More

I can only endorse previous reviews. Totally awful, no kidding. Access via a medievle spiral staircase usutable to anyone unless an athlete. Bathroom means a shower , no toilet no sink, all in the coridor and above a greasy spoon cafe. Listing is not as advertised. Never again.

Warning! Avoid this hotel! It is the most horrible place I ever stayed in. We were not allowed to se the rooms before we booked, and after we understood why. Nobody would stay there after having seen them. This hotel is a disaster.

I used to think that the location of a hotel was the most important, everything else you could make do with if necessary. Not so! This was the only free hotel for our visit in Bayeux, we had no other choice; it may be well-situated BUT all else was horrible: room smelled bad, mildewy, and so small, no room for... More

I spent one night at this hotel with my girlfriend, finding it well located in the centre and rather cheap. Unfortunately, arriving at night, we didn't check well our room, the number 9, at the last floor, and we just went to bed. The following morning my girlfriend woke up with a hand and her neck covered with red and... More

We booked a stay here as it was cheap and in the centre of town. The place seemed fine (although don't expect anything special) until we discovered bed bugs not long after midnight. They were on the walls, the curtains and all through the bed. We got no sleep, trying to get them off the bed and out of our... More
