This wonderful old Normandy farmhouse has been beautifully restored by British owners Liz & Mark. It is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is a excellent choice for easy access to the Normandy beaches and other local tourist attractions. When we were there in May the blossom was out, and the hedgerows alive with wild flowers including... More

For my parner's birthday we decided to take a trip to Normandy, and our first stop was at La Maugerie. We had booked a meal for the evening of our stay and Liz surpassed herself with 3 courses of delicious food and a bottle of sparkling wine, which my partner enjoyed so much that Liz gave him a bottle the... Well, what can we say? My husband and I wanted to stop over in Normandy after a trip to Jersey to extend our holiday a little and normally we like to stay in a 4/5 star hotel. To cover the locations we were hoping to see, it was difficult to find a suitable hotel.... so with reluctance I decided to... More

Liz and Mark were delightful hosts to us this summer. We (2 couples) decided to drive from the Beaune area over to Normandy, but had no reservations. After a few disappointing calls to other B&Bs in the area, we were given their number by another innkeeper. Luckily for us, there had been a cancellation and off we went to St.... More

The location was great for our trip as we wanted to explore both Normandy and Brittany. Liz and Jack were very helpful and pleasant to visit with and they made our stay very comfortable.

There were 8 of us - 6 adults and 2 children. Everyone had a wonderful time! The kids got to talk to the chickens, pick stawbverries, help in the kitchen - they loved it! The adultsgot to drink tea, relax in beautiful scenery, drink wink, eat wonderful meals, walk in the peaceful countryside, talk to the cows and sheep. Really,... More

We enjoyed everything about this B&B. Mark and Liz were amazing hosts as well as terrific at keeping my children (7 & 12) busy so I could enjoy. The home is well kept with beautiful rooms that were clean and well kept. All rooms had fabulous views of the country. The home cooked meals were to die for! It was... More

Thank you, Liz and Mark, for your part in making our first trip to Normandy so wonderful. Your home is both beautiful and comfortable and the rural setting is tranquil. Thanks for your hospitality and your great cooking. We intended to eat out more often, but soon learned that the food you prepared was the best value around! Thanks, also,... More

Thank you so much Liz & Mark for opening, out of season, especially for us, en route to the UK for Christmas. It was appreciated that you made sure that we were so warm and cosy during our stay, having only been in the warmer months before, the delicious three course meal, in your stunning dining room, in front of...
