Stayed for one night for a weekend getaway break. Not much to add from what others have already said. 15 minute walk from the Eurostar station and on the outskirts of the town centre so a 10 walk for the bars and restaurants. We recently stayed in Hotel Hermitage Gantois in Lille, location wise the hotel is with walking distance of most attractions and certainly within walking distance of bars and restaurants, the hotel does not have any parking so expect to pay, approx 20 Euros per day within walking distance. Gantois is centrally located near the old part of the city Very nice rooms and wonderful ( but expensive breakfast ) dining area staff spoke English well if a little relunctantly. For a room costing 250 euros per night I felt it was bit mean to try to sell you internet card for 10 euros for 30 minutes more
