Gantois is centrally located near the old part of the city Very nice rooms and wonderful ( but expensive breakfast ) dining area staff spoke English well if a little relunctantly. For a room costing 250 euros per night I felt it was bit mean to try to sell you internet card for 10 euros for 30 minutes more

Went for a Valentine's weekend break to Lille and stayed at the L'Hermitage, the hotel was in a great location with a 10/15 minute walk from the train station and the centre of town.
