The staff greeted us with a warm welcome. Our room was a reasonable size and clean. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Lille. The breakfast was surprisingly OK for a buffet style. However, be careful at the bar, £30 for 4 drinks! If we went to Lille again we would stay there. more

We enjoyed our stay at this excellent hotel. It is most conveniently situated for visitors arriving by Eurostar, and also handy for the Lille Gare Flandres station. The town centre is just a short stroll away. The Hotel staff were all very courteous and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Of the four hotels we stayed in over our trip this was the best. Spacious superior room, big bathroom and very clean and fresh. This Novotel is located just a few steps from the 'Lille Flandres' rain station (not to be confounded with the Lille Europe station, that has a Crowne Plaza hotel next to it). There is a parking underneath the hotel, but the elevators do not go there directly : you have to get up through a rather dirty and cramped staircase.... more

Me and my mum booked this via laterooms and unfortunately got charged twice. We contacted late rooms and they replied to say they would get back to us (and never did!). However we contacted the hotel direct and within 24 hours they'd refunded the money. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the Lille Eurostar and very easy to find.... more
