Very friendly staff. Well worth paying for a room with a view over Grand Place, watch life going on when you get up, late at night and in between. i only spent one night in this hotel. i would chose it again should i have to go to lille. the rooms are supposed to be classy, but they seem a bit tired. i especially liked the elevator, i think it is the original one but renovated. more

The location is great being on the main square although the entrance is on a parallel road. Good restaurants close by. Decor is plush and hotel clean but some furniture missing embellishments. Superb location. Our superior room overlooked the Grande Place through french windows. Elegant stairway, quaint lift, swirling gold and yellow carpets, old marquetry furniture.
