Wifi connection did not work properly, got disconnected every few minutes. no help from reception. bathroom was horrible, terrible (i dont have more words). if someone is slightly fat, it would be better to take shower in the rain!! find some other hotel. the only thing good was that you could hear church bell chimes... more

This hotel is the best I could find given a need for 5 twin rooms in a central Lille location at around 30-40 quid per head per night. The lift is still not working. I have stayed in many 2* hotels in France but none as grubby or as uncomfortable as this. The only redeeming feature is the central location. The toilet bowl needs a bleaching treatment / caustic soda to remove months of stains and limescale. This hotel is in a great location for visiting the historic centre of Lille, however, unless you can sleep through continual disturbance then try somewhere else. The corridor and rooms have wooden parquet flooring and thin walls, so you can hear EVERYTHING. From a footstep, to a chair being moved - to suitcases being dragged around!
