I read reviews of this hotel before booking and can only say these people have very low standards. I don't expect the ritz but this hotel is minging. Hotel slightly over priced but clean and rooms were recently renovated. If you arrive outwith hours make sure you've been booked in and not just handed a key!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late September. Although a little out-of-the way, Les Gens de Mer was still walking distance to downtown Dunkerque and an excellent value.
