This hotel is located very near to the entre, overlooking the old harbour. It is easily accessible from the ferry port being about a 20 minute drive. Parking is easy in the road outside the hotel and is free. There is also a car park less than 100 metres away but this is chargeable. The hotel staff are very helpful,... More

Lovely little hotel. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the welcome is warm. Dog bowls provided for my dogs (for which there is no extra charge) and all the basics in the room. Separate shower and toilet which is useful. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I loved the bed - really soft, just like sleeping on... More

Stopped here on a Thursday night and again on a Saturday night and had the same experiences. Staff were friendly enough and he room was a good size apart from the separate toilet in the room but this is a very basic hotel with old decor and if you want anything extra they were unable to help or didn't understand.... We've just spend a long weekend based here visiting Dunkerque, Bruges and Ypres. The place is very clean, comfortable, pleasant and nicely situated in the port area, very close to the town centre for walking in. The staff are helpful and at least bi-lingual. Breakfast was traditional for northern France and plentiful. Our room had a side port view, but... More

Great hotel in the centre reasonably priced, didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Rooms all clean and tidy and very spacious! Staff very helpful and accommodating Good for recommendations although the restaurant we wanted was closed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and ensuite were large and spacious, although room decor, like the rest of he hotel, a little "old". Nice wide staircase which was under refurbishment of some sort. Hotel was just ok, but I suppose value for money.

I've stayed for one night including breakfast. Breakfast was quite ok and I'm happy with it. Room was clean and comfortable. bathroom was ok. as seen at most French hotels, toilet is apart from bathroom which for me is a very good idea! Lights in the corridors need to be switched on and do not wait for any sensor to... More

We just spent two nights at hotel Borel. Marion at the front desk is the friendliest and most competent employee in France. She recommended an excellent restaurant and ran off to get an iron and board when we asked. We paid a little extra for a suite which was well worth it. Large room with a desk and small table... I stayed in one of the suites 4 nights only. The room was equipped with any accessory, modern bathroom very large, bed so comfortable, big TV sat. Complete breakfast not really "international", but i found whatever i was in need of (thoug a bit more of assistance from any server was really appreciate....). I paid around 140€ per night with...
