My party of 9 stayed here for 2 nights and we ate here both evenings. How can they turn out such well cooked, well presented quality food for the price they do? It's a secret others would do well to learn. Comments from members of our party included " best hamburger I've ever tasted" Dishes to rave about are the... More

This is an ideal hotel. The rooms are simply furnished and scrupulously clean. The restaurant serves very good food with enough choice for all tastes. The puddings are to die for! 22euro deal will cover a main and dessert plus breakfast. The owner speaks English and is very welcoming. Look no further! The hotel is on a corner and Rue... More

Rooms basic but adequate, clean and tidy, and en-suite, certainly fine for stopover to or from ferry. Dinner surprisingly good, breakfast also fine. Unfortunately restaurant not open on Sunday evenings so need to drive into central Dunkirk for a meal. The owner, Fred, is very pleasant and helpful guy who speaks some English. La Cuisin is more a modern version... More

We chose here specifically as a stop over before heading back to the UK. Not strictly necessary for the journey time but the food here is worth it. The room itself is comfortable but only very basic. Try here if you want something a little special without spending over the odds!!!

La Cuis'in's proprietor says this is a restaurant with rooms - and what a restaurant! In our many years of staying in small, usually two star hotels in France La Cuis'in provided some of the best and must exciting food I have eaten in Franceand even better it offers two courses for the evening meal and breakfast for the price... If, like me, you have an aversion to restaurants that have pictures of the food on their menus be forewarned - the La Cuis'in has them as a rolling video on the TV in the dining-room! But take no notice of that, the food is absolutely wonderful. Stayed here as an overnight before a morning ferry back home and we're... More

Stayed here twice as part of road trip to Germany, out and return, ideal for ferry, took advantage of the evening meal and breakfast offer (22euro pp), the breakfast was typical continental, but the evening meal was superb, rooms were basic, but clean. Would recommend.

Let's cut to the chase - this is a very basic hotel above an extraordinary little restaurant. If you stay and don't eat there you are really missing out. The rooms - reasonable sized, yet ultra basic, wifi was intermittent and our room smelt of drains. Not a great start but for the modest price is would have tolerated it.... More

Hotel La Cuis'in is 1.5 miles outside of Dunkirk. It is basic but very clean accommodation with a very comfy bed. Bathroom is also very clean and towels were changed each day. Unfortunately the Wi-fi didn't work and kept dropping out as soon as we got it, so were unable to use our Ipad during out two night stay. Quite... More

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel either side of our road trip. Rooms looked like they had been recently redecorated and were tastefully done. Beds very comfortable, shower hot and very powerful. Hair dryer in bathroom. Only downside was that the Hotel was very hot as it was August and there was no AC`S or Fans in the rooms.... More
