I just picked this establishment from Booking.com and it turned out super for me. I was not due to arrive in Dunkerque until 23-00 hrs and then I had to find the place. It is about 30 mins drive to the centre of Dunkerque. The lady of the house waited up for me, for which I was very thankful. I... More

This place is a real find and excellent value for money! I visited with a friend for the weekend and we both enjoyed our stay very much, rooms are clean, comfortable, extremely cosy and well equipped! The lady who owns the hotel/b&b is lovely and very welcoming as are the other family members we met! Parking was no issue we... More

Visited this hotel again, absolutely fabulous. Veronique and Christophe so welcoming, it was like visiting close family. Glass of wine before we were shown to our exceedingly comfortable room. Shutters help,to keep out the late night/early morning traffic noise. Breakfast superb, choice of food excellent and Veronique on hand to make sure you are happy. Thoroughly recommend this hotel that... More

What a wonderful hostess Veronique is! We arrived very early, she showed us in and let us leave our luggage until our room was ready. She was instrumental in helping us with arranging a museum tour, which was the entire point of our trip to Dunkerque. She reached out to the museum directly when we had trouble trying to arrange... We were looking for a hotel/B&B in Dunkerque which would be fairly close to both the ferry and the hypermarket at Auchan. This hotel fitted both criteria. Our TomTom satnav took us straight to the front door (to the left of a Pizza shop). The young lady who greeted us spoke excellent English and was warm and welcoming. She showed... More

We received a very warm welcome and were shown us to our room. As we needed to dinner, our host recommended a restaurant on the seafront; she even called the restaurant to make our reservation! We were not disappointed with her recommendation :-) The room was extremely clean and spacious, comfortable and modern, and had a nice en-suite with shower... More

From the wonderful welcome from Veronique, to the rooms and fantastic continental breakfast in the morning, we had a lovely stay at l'escale malouine. Clean, well appointed rooms ( even had hair straighteners) wooden floors and tasteful decor. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely old house with thre letting rooms. The hostess Veronique is exceptional. The breakfast is one of the best continental breakfast we have had. The B&B is on a fairly busy road, but there is little noise, and parking can be found on the street outside- if you are lucky - or very nearby. The sea front... More
