I have stayed in many hotels in Toulouse, the Hotel du Taur is well located so my partner and I decided to give it a try! The price started at 82 euros for the night, which dropped to 72 euros, her colleague dropped the price to 65 euros, which we were happy with. The room itself was spacious and comfortable,... More

Face it, when traveling I usually spend more time away from my hotel room than in it, so all I really want is safety, cleanliness and convenience. Hotel du Taur has all this plus a superb location and good value. The owner manager was gracious and friendly, speaking excellent English. She offered shopping and restaurant suggestions even coming down to... More

You get what you pay for and that is what you should expect. This is a comfortable hotel in the centre of Toulouse. Excellent value for money and I would stay again without hesitation if I wanted to be in the centre of Toulouse. I don't understand how you can say the Holiday Inn at the airport would be better... Right around the corner from Toulouse City Hall (Hotel d'Ville). It's a very historic building, but that doesn't mean that it's old-fashioned. The accommodations are modern with the amenities you'd expect. The age of the building reveals itself in slow-to-heat and low-pressure showers. It's a small blemish on an otherwise top-quality value. We also asked for restaurant recommendations from the... More

Lets remember that this is an old 2* hotel right in the oldest part of the city centre and not the 4* Holiday Inn at the airport as one reviewer would have preferred. There are no fancy toiletries in the bathrooms, there is a flight of stairs from the street to the reception (ground floor premises are all shops) and... More

I have stayed twice in the last two weeks. It was right in the centre of Toulouse. The price was good, however when you add the cost of the multi-storey car park, I should have stayed at the holiday inn airport. The hotel is old and it showed, however it was clean and I got good night sleeps (rubbish TV... More

Pros - Good location (very near from underground and on the corner of the main square of the city). friendly staff. Cons - wifi just in lobby-area and very old lift. And the very uncomfortabely stair to lift - if you have big and\or heavy luggage, it's not very convient.

This hotel is only 15 metres from Place du Capitole so very convenient to restaurants, bars and shops. There was a Christmas market on the square during my stay - fabulous. The reception is up a flight of stairs with no lift - not uncommon in Europe with its lovely character filled hotels. Hotel was clean, room small but adequate... More

Though very centrally located in Toulouse, this hotel is quite horrible. I stayed in a room that was not heated and even the water was hardly even warm. The bathroom was a real horrible experience and even the very friendly staff did not make things much better.

We enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast (bread, cheese, Nespresso coffee, orange juice, jams, croissant, fruits, meat), very clean, not noisy but downtown. Friendly staff and they told us about a good restaurant (la regalade) which was amazing. Tip : choose a 3rd level room, they're renovated. Some have showers and others baths, so if you have a preference you should... More
