This is a pefectly ok hotel, but not sure why it has attracted such high ratings. If you are happy with clean and basic in good location, then fine, but none of the extra little touches that make a great hotel. Location does have draw backs - both nights had rowdy behavious outside until early hours. Rooms have decent bed,... more

I was very pleased with everything about Albert 1 until I got home and found, via the internet, that the room rates were listed as 55 euros when I had paid 99 euros. When I phoned about it they said just like airline seats the prices vary according to time and date,That is more than a seasonal adjustment. It was... more

Stayed here for 2 nights having driven up from Carcassonne. First of all park at Place Jeanne d'Arc if staying more than 1 night as hotel has special rate of 18 euros for 48 hours. Hotel was so central just 2 streets away from Place du Capitole, the main square in Toulouse. You can walk to most places from here.... more

Perfect hotel to visit Toulouse. Great location!! Close to the "Capital" which is a great square to sit and people watch. Also close to the market which is worth a visit. Clean room and not so worried about view. I mean come on people you book a room to sleep in, not stand on the balcony and look at the... more

The rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean. Although the furnishings are basic, our room for three persons was equiped with everything we needed including a hair-dryer. The service was excellent, with a friendly and professional staff that delivered on everything promissed by the Hotel. Breakfast was only 7 Euros on the weekends and 10 Euros during the week, but was... more

The best thing about this hotel is its location. You can walk to most of the interesting parts of the city with ease, the Place du Capitole is only 2 minutes away and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. We found the staff a bit cool and distant, although they warmed when we spoke French to them. The hotel... more

I stayed here and then moved onto the Paris to another part of my trip. The comparison made me appreciate this hotel more. It is charming in an excellent location. Yes the bed is hard, but the bathroom is roomy with a heated towel rack that made it cozy and warm. The only down side was that you have to... more

It s a nice hotel, really central and well priced at 55 EUR for 1 night. Its been said before, but the room was small, although modern with a flat screen tv and minibar with soft drinks priced at 2 EUR each. The bathroom as mentioned earlier was very clean and modern. The reception was also a bit slow checking... more

I dont think that you can do better for €69 per night, right in the centre of Toulouse on a quiet side street. Yes the rooms are tiny and the bed is hard - but the bathroom was immaculate and the place was spotless. That was all we needed for a rugby weekend. The taxi from the airport was €28... more

I guess the reason people like this hotel so much is that it's fairly cheap - but that's about all it has going for it. The rooms are small and ours had a depressing little view out the back side. The room was clean, but dark and sad. The location is okay, but there are many more hotels in the... more
