If you want a central location within walking distance of old Toulouse, you can't beat this hotel. We were there during some maintenance so we missed some of the elegance. Overall, the price gets you a great location and a good room. Wifi was slow but reliable.

There is no better location in Toulouse than the Capitole Square. It is accessible to everything one wants to visit in the city. And this hotel is right on the square. It has all the amenities one could want plus a helpful staff, quiet rooms, and lovely decor. What more could one wish for? Christian Constant's Le Bibent is just... More

What a superb hotel this is. The staff, the breakfast, very comfortable bedrooms and an excellent location. Close to shops and restaurants, and would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

On Capitole square, just 5 minutes from Victor Hugo market. Lovely old(ish) style hotel with a great interior and very helpful staff. Nice little bar downstairs for some end of evening cocktails. Stayed in the Crowne Plaza last time, I'll be staying here again next time.

Lovely, old-fashioned style hotel, with great staff, ambling lobby with lots of sitting rooms and salons. Our room was dark (small window and lights weren't bright enough), but completely clean and comfortable. Good breakfast spread (not cheap, though). Can't beat the location. We'd recommend it and go back, but maybe try to get a brighter room.

Dear Ikbeep, We would like to thank for taking your time to give a feedback on Tripadvisor. We are really glad that you were satisfied by our staff and that you enjoyed our buffet breakfast. There's a lot to like about this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right on Toulouse's Place du Capitole. The hotel has an elegant, historic feel to it, and the staff were good, and spoke good English. But I had a few niggles. They couldn't provide a UK plug adaptor on request. My room (despite being one of the more expensive... More

Excellent location with most historical sites within and easy walk. The staff was excellent and very friendly who all spoke excellent English. The hotel is a little worn but that adds to the authentic feel of the place. The room was small but clean and the bathroom likewise. Altogether an very enjoyable stay and I recommend it without hesitation.

...with excellent service! Up a passage way off the main square. Polite speedy reception by most helpful team! Our room, typically French was beautifully quiet with an enormous bed. Well appointed marble bathroom with dated over bath shower. Grab rail required on the wall! Good bar area with friendly efficient service. Unfortunately it suffered from a regular modern malaise....one afternoon... More

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is spacious and cosy. Hotel staff are very helpful and always smiling. All sightseeing spots are walking distance around. All small streets have plenty of little shops for any taste. The Capitole is literally in front of the hotel, depending which room you get you might have the view of... More

Rather strange tucked away round the back of the Capitole square. Very opulent furnishings. Bedroom dark wood and heavy red flock wallpaper. Hard going for 3 days. The reception and dining room staff are lovely and the breakfast is quite good although scrambled or fried eggs would have been a change after the endless omelettes .The dining room for lunch...
