My family stayed in a yuppie hotel but I stayed here to save money. Good breakfast, and location. Older rooms, but clean and good for solo travelers. I was on a long vacation after Spain, Morocco, and the south of France getting ready to board our boat to go down the Canal du Midi. We met up here and went... More

Very nice place animated surrounded by beautiful buildings. Make a pause sandwich or grab a cup of coffee in one of the many and various restaurant/cafes; it is a treat for the eyes Do also a tour at night when lights illuminates the building,

They carefully renovated the lobby but the rest of the hotel is completely run-down, desperately needing works. Nevertheless the check-in was swift and the staff friendly. For the same price it's possible to book a 3-star hotel in a better... More

Very close to the city center. Fine breakfast. Good value for the money. We had a room with a very small bathroom, but our friends had a nice one. No lift to first floor.

I chose this hotel chiefly because of its location - very near the centre of the old quarter of Toulouse and its Government buildings and Opera, Le Capitole, set in a large Square. The Square is used for local markets and there are a number of Cafe Bars along one side - very good for people-watching, and not at all... More

I found this hotel from a guide book then called directly to reserve. On various websites I saw that Albert 1er was highly rated, especially for location, and this property is directly next door. The price was about $250 for two nights, and we ate breakfast once. Breakfasts in hotels all over France seem to average 7 to 8 euros... More
