We stayed at this hotel for one night in advance of our visit to Grotte Niaux. Prior to booking, I could only find reviews from cyclists and hikers, not simply tourists. We usually stay in 4 star hotels. The hotel is clean with a happy atmosphere. The rooms are of adequate size and the breakfast was wonderful. There are stairs... More

The service was warm and friendly, the room clean, the bed comfy and there was lots of nice hot water for a shower. Buffet breakfast very good, with lots of choice. This is a charming 2 star hotel in a great location to explore the land of the Cathars (eg Foix and its Castle and Montségur). We were only passing... More

A small fairly basic hotel ideally situated in a pretty village close to the caves at Niaux. The staff (come to think of it we only saw one) were friendly, the breakfast was good once you mastered the coffee maker, and the location, right on the river, was excellent. The room was very small for a double but as we... More

As others have said, this little hotel is a very friendly place in a beautiful location. The gentleman who checked us in found out I spoke Spanish so he chose to use it with me. Much easier for me than French! Both he and his wife were very interested in seeing to our comfort. This is just the kind of... More

The hotel is on the water front and well placed in the village. Owner speaks fluid English which has made our stay very easy and relaxing. Breakfast has been simple but good. They have a private area for car parking. Internet - Wifi works well with no drop outs. A pleasant place to stay.

This is a small hotel in a small town not far from the famous Niaux Cave and the border with Andorra in the Midi-Pyrenees area of France. The owner/manager was very helpful at check-in. The hotel is in a good location and we had a great view of the neat clocktower. The room was comfortable, we had a safe spot... More

An ugly hotel in a lovely location on the river, with a tiny room with no view but a good size bathroom. The best thing about the hotel was the young host who helped us with wifi, advice about a nice walk in town, where to have dinner and find a bank machine, and gave perfect directions for the drive... Warm room, big enough for 2 adults and 2 children; very big bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a nice restaurant just crossing the street. We stayed only for one night on our way from Andorra and they offered everything we needed for a short stay. Nothing to complain about... maybe the price of the breakfast: 8 € also... More

We wandered into Tarascone without reservations and spotted the Hotel Confort right on the river Ariege----a lovely setting. They had a nice room for us, very reasonable, clean and comfortable and overlooking the river.. We were hoping to visit the caves at Niaux in the morning and the gentleman at the desk said he would call for us in the... More
