There’s nothing negative to say about this small, peaceful, clean, exceptionally well-run hotel where we had the pleasure of staying two weeks during a business trip in September. The first thing that strikes you as you arrive is its green, peaceful, park-like setting only 50 meters away from the busy tourist area at the top of Rocamadour (Hospitalet). A long narrow driveway ushers you away from the tourist crowds, and yet you are within a short walking distance, ca. 200 meters, to the tourist office and the beginning of the ca. 1 km descent along the “Voie Sainte” into the lovely, breathtaking, cliff-hugging, medieval village of Rocamadour. The owners/managers, Mr. & Madame Poisson are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Madame will graciously offer a warm or cool refreshment to weary travelers arriving at the hotel.
