We didn't know what we had booked till we got there. We found a lovely boutique hotel hidden in the trees with complete privacy, even in this busy tourist destination. We could walk to Rocamadour village with ease, and several restaurants were in easy walking distance. The staff at this hotel was very friendly, helpful and proactive in making our... More

Newish hotel: a stone & timber clad building in a great wooded location on the opposite side of the valley to Rocamadour. Good view of Rocamadour at night, when it's lit up. Modern & comfortable, stylish & friendly. Good breakfast. Comfort room was adequate size, clean with good furniture and comfortable bed. Large shower. Glazed door to outside where there's... More

We stayed 3n B&B in a superior room (king size bed) and were happy with our choice. Likes * Excellent location 'best of all worlds' - very tranquil, wooded area yet within easy reach of path down or 'cable car' lift into Rocamadour (NB. walk involves steepish slope, then steps down to Cite level so stiffer walk back. Lifts close... More

I will give Les esclergies a 4 star on their excellent service. The hotel personnel were all very helpful and polite. The place was very clean and room was large compare to other hotels in France we've stayed . It is on top of the Basilica and you can reach the Cheateau and the sanctuary with a good, nice 15 minute... More

Hotel Les Esclargis is lying in a park of oak trees, on the cliff above the chapel dedicated to the Holy Mary of Rocamadour. The hotel has 16 rooms modern furnished rooms All is spotless clean. The double bed (Queen Size) is rather narrow. The bath bright and clean, but the bath tub is without shower curtain. WiFi worked perfectly,... More

Room was nice, atmosphere natural and environmental. Only issue was the bathroom wit open shower. Imagine it might have been more environmental to keep the water from the rest of the room. Outdoor area is stunning, including a pool.....room opened up to the outdoors. Hostess seemed a little frazzled and got someone else to help us. Great restaurant suggestion.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we chose to stay at Les Esclargies for our trip to Rocamadour. We stayed just the one night and it was great! The room was large with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, the wifi was fast and the breakfast was really good .... but it is the staff and location that... More

Cozy and friendly hotel close to the city , within walking distance of about 10 minutes and then have two elevators . We got a room a little small but clean . In the bathroom there was no curtain so the water flooded the floor . excellent wi fi. Breakfast is very good.

An early autumn visit to Rocamadour was enhanced by our two night stay in this wonderful hotel. The room, the decor, the location and the staff made our stay here memorable.
