Hotel Les Esclargis is lying in a park of oak trees, on the cliff above the chapel dedicated to the Holy Mary of Rocamadour. The hotel has 16 rooms modern furnished rooms All is spotless clean. The double bed (Queen Size) is rather narrow. The bath bright and clean, but the bath tub is without shower curtain. WiFi worked perfectly,... More

Room was nice, atmosphere natural and environmental. Only issue was the bathroom wit open shower. Imagine it might have been more environmental to keep the water from the rest of the room. Outdoor area is stunning, including a pool.....room opened up to the outdoors. Hostess seemed a little frazzled and got someone else to help us. Great restaurant suggestion.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we chose to stay at Les Esclargies for our trip to Rocamadour. We stayed just the one night and it was great! The room was large with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, the wifi was fast and the breakfast was really good .... but it is the staff and location that... More

We stayed at les esclargies for a long week end (November 11th), just before the end of the season. The hotel is really well incorporated in its environment, rooms are a bit small but confortable and personnel very friendly and helpflul giving advices on what to see and when. The only thing we didnt like was the lack of curtain... More

Cozy and friendly hotel close to the city , within walking distance of about 10 minutes and then have two elevators . We got a room a little small but clean . In the bathroom there was no curtain so the water flooded the floor . excellent wi fi. Breakfast is very good.

An early autumn visit to Rocamadour was enhanced by our two night stay in this wonderful hotel. The room, the decor, the location and the staff made our stay here memorable. We came to see the spectacular village of Rocamadour and we also found this truly wonderful hotel within easy walking distance of all that we wanted to see. A... More

This is a terrific place for visiting Rocamadour. First of all, i didn't understand the geography of this place; Les Esclargies is in L'Hospitalet, which is a town on the crescent shaped cliff OVERLOOKING Rocamadour, and from which Rocamadour sort of "spills" down the cliffside to the valley below. So when they say the best view of Rocamadour is from... More

Les Esclargies is located at the top level of the cliff, L'Hospitalet level. The hotel is well managed and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms, hallways, and dining area are very clean and neat. There is free parking. We stayed in a 1st floor "Exclusive Double Room" which was 312 square feet. There was a king bed,... More

Les Esclargies is in a fantastic location for visiting Rocamadour. Situated at the top of the hill, it's close to restaurants, shops etc. and also very easy to get down to Rocamadour itself. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and modern - it had a small balcony which we didn't really use as it was too small for two... More

We have just returned from a trip to France during which we spent 5 nights at Les Esclargies with our daughter and dog. It is a really lovely, small hotel set in lovely grounds with a swimming pool. Our room was - like the whole hotel - very tastefully furnished in a modern style and although quite small, was comfortable... More
