This is a beautiful hotel, in the heart of the medieval city, facing the cliffs. Although from the 15th or 16th century, it is all updated, with elevator and bedrooms with air conditioning, jacuzzi, etc. Parking is perfect as well.

Stayed here for 1 might on our way to Calais from Spain and very pleased that we did so. The hotel is the Main Street which is quite narrow in parts and there are a lot of pedestrians to contend with. The car park is directly opposite the main hotel and alongside the restaurant and bar. The car parking area... More

We stayed one Wednesday night in mid October, As it wasn't very busy in Rocamadour, it was easy to find and drive into, but with pedestrian tourists and cars sharing a one lane road in tourist season, driving in might concern some. Rocamadour is really one tourist street about 500 meters long with old stone gates at both ends. The... More

Arrived to this crazy old town which hangs off the cliffs in daylight. Finding this hotel is not easy and would be incredible hard when it is dark outside. After crossing a bridge below the old town, turn right immediately and make a few hairpin turns up the road. As you get to the "pedestrian walkway," which is marked by... More

Had to drive into the pedestrian street, following the little train until we came to the hotel. We were lucky and able to park right outside. The staff were charming and our room on the 3rd floor overlooking the valley was fantastic. Or meal in the bistro was great and the atmosphere in the evening people watching and exploring the... Absolutely everything about this wonderful hotel and town was marvellous. We had a room with views up to the chateau, overlooking the street, which was full of bustle by day, but quiet by night. Our gorgeous, spacious room had a four poster bed, and all the fittings were top quality. The bathroom was lovely. The breakfast buffet was probably the... More

The driving directions stated to go down the pedestrian street to the centre of the village. We slowly made our way through the crowd and were met by a friendly hotel staff who parked the car for us. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views. Room was superb and the staff went out of their way to... More

"Location. Location. Location." Don't expect a 5-star bed, and some rooms are a bit small by American standards, but amenities & services are 3-star or above, and it's in a fantastic, romantic location! Perfect for a weekend away! That being said, this Best Western is positively charming! It's comfortable, well kept, and common areas combine period- and functionally-appropriate décor. We... More
