This charming hotel is located approx. a couple of Kms from the town centre. It has charming rooms, views of pastures, a terrace with swimming pool and a really superb restaurant. Service was friendly, and the meals were delicious--local specialties with good local wine. We dined outside under a large tree as the weather was perfect in September, so we... More

We spent two very pleasant nights in this beautifully restored hotel outside Rocamadour. The setting was perfect and very peaceful. The staff could not have been more helpful and were particularly obliging with regard to my coeliac disease, providing me with gluten free bread for both breakfast and dinner - a real treat. We chose the 'demi-pension' option and were... More

We chose the hotel because of its countryside location a few minutes' walk from Rocamadour. The views of the surrounding countryside are beautiful, and the outside terrace is a most agreeable place to eat. We also enjoyed relaxing and swimming in the garden. Franck is an excellent host, being very friendly and helpful. The food is a real feature of... More

Located about a mile from the town center this lovely stone hotel has charming rooms, views of sheep pastures, a terrace with swimming pool and a superb restaurant. Service was pleasant. It is possible to have "demi-pension" (breakfast and dinner added to to room charge) which is economical. The food was remarkably delicious--local specialties such as duck and nut cake--... More

We ( 4 Adults ) have just returned from a 7 night stay at Le Troubadour. Franck the manager and his team gave us excellent hospitality, great accommodation ,facilities, and excellent food of high gastronomic standards. I like a hotel with a driveway. A driveway promises something rather splendid, and this one does not disappoint. Safeway away from the hullabaloo of Rocamadour (still worth a visit) this is a small collection of limestone buildings in beautiful grounds with wonderful views, a lovely heated swimming pool, and fabulous food. Dinner is served in the summer months in... More

Gosh, where to start? Initially the location with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Peaceful and quiet. One approaches via a quiet country road, through gates and up a long drive. The building itself, really quite ancient, beautifully restored, window boxes and a carefully tended garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful, showing us to our room in the... More

We have been staying in this hotel for years in our annual trip down to Spain. I always liked the place but I used to dislike the fact that they had no restaurant and the one near there where we used to go was always full of flies. But now the hotel has opened their own restaurant again, they used... More

Loved our stay in a 2-bed suite here - beautiful views over open rolling countryside and character of building (converted farm buildings) as well as excellent pool. Clean rooms and comfortable bed (by French hotel standards) and good breakfast. We did not have dinner as it was a bit pricey and down the road are a selection of other restaurants... More
