4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

Over £4 million pounds has been spent on upgrading this hotel that is only minutes from the Grotto. Everything is new and to the highest possible standard - it is expected to gain its 4th star very shortly. The staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble. Sumptuous deep pile carpeting through out the floors to and within each... More

Rehabilitation is wonderful, I've been several times, and did not complain at no time for being an old furnished, but with the new rehab. this year, it is great. And we also had wifi in the rooms. Congrats for the new decorated room, I loved it. till next year.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and always smiling. They went out of their way to always meet our needs. Excellent experience... Will definitely stay their again and recommend any body looking for a hotel close to shops and surrounding activities.

If you are into experiencing the buzz of Lourdes, this hotel is perfect, right next to the entrance of the grotto and the rest. Old building so don't expect anything too fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. And great service, so we were very satisfied with our short stay.

Originally there were three in our party but one dropped out at the last moment so could not get refund, which the receptionist thought we were trying to do on arrival. I explained that we knew we could not get refund and that it was okay. Having said that the maid removed the third bath towel even though we had... More

Management response:

Madam,Sir The hotel Chapelle et Parc has been refurbished in 2011, so now there’s some great lobby, bar and dining room. The hotel has been built by the Bernadette Soubirous’ niece, so it’s an historical place, very near to the Sanctuaries that we renovate regularly. The room are still old-fashioned even if we upgrade with modern confort (Flat screen tv,... More

This year was my 3rd year staying at the chapelle and the hotel has had some renovation completed, the bar and lounge area has been done to a fantastic spec with a top of the range bar, plasma tv and beautiful piano. The feel of the new bar area is very comfortable and clean with the view over the gardens... More

Whilst visiting "Chapelle et Parc" our church group thoroughly enjoyed the company, food and atmosphere. The staff had a friendly attitude and could not do enough for you. The food was varied and tasty with substitutes for those who have acquired needs or those who may not like the food on offer. The rooms are standard but clean and fresh,... More

We stayed in this hotel for 13 days while working as volunteers. Despite requesting a quiet room when booking in January we were allocated a room overlooking the main street. We were informed that we would have to pay extra for a quiet room, however they eventually complied but with bad grace. Each morning while rushing to go on duty... More

Don't be taken in by the description of rooms as having "views over The Sanctuary". That's what we booked, but what we got were views over the hotel garden and car park. What's more, the arrogant female director messed up our clear reservation dates and implied the fault was ours for not interpreting her response the way she had intended,... More
