It was the third visit at this time. The location to the sanctuary is the best. The staff of the reception was friendly, too and was comfortable. The meal in the brasserie was delicious, too. I want to use even next Lourdes visit by all means.

My mother and I went on a trip with the Knights of Malta, Federal Association, from the United States. The employees were so great. I have SEVERE food allergies and the dining staff made sure ALL my food was free from allergens. They even made up cards for us that said in French I had allergies, just in case we... More

Firstly, the location could not be better.. just about 200 yards from the Church and 300 yards from the Grotto. The St Saveur is a 3* Hotel, so don't expect the Ritz. The staff (particularly Liz!) are friendly, prompt and efficient. The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are quite basic and small, but served our purpose. One or two... More

Average hotel, small size of room. The breakfast was not very good. The management should do something about it. The other restaurant at the hotel did not understand English very well. So difficult to communicate. Front desk was very helpful though and the store at the ground floor had many special items for sale with a 10% discount to hotel... More

The hotel is situated less than a 3 minute flat walk to the sanctuary entrance. It is an old (one of the original hotel structures in Lourdes) so the rooms are small and odd shaped as many older hotels in Europe are. They have a restaurant, bar and gift shop. I am always thankful when I have a safe in... More

We spent three nights at this hotel. The hotel location is its prime advantage. Rooms are simple and a bit old. The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They have a cafe on the street side that provides a nice range of food options. It would have been good if they would offer during dinner... More

It's location close to the Sanctuary was the main reason we chose this hotel. The double room was tiny. Had to stay in the lobby sometimes as I was getting a little claustrophobic. Toilet was separated from the bathroom. The breakfast was adequate. Staff at reception was very attentive - I saw them patiently helping elderly guests work out their... More

Stayed here with a large Pilgrimage group, so expectations weren't very high. A bad start - a dreadful, dark, airless room with single beds and bath the size of a shoe box. But Liz on Reception was extremely helpful and immediately found us something much better. And things looked up from there; the food was good, and the staff looked... More

I like staying at this hotel because it is so close to the entrance of the Sanctuary. Also the staff at reception, the restuarant and house-keeping are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the meals are first class even though it is rated a 3 star hotel.
