Average for cleanliness, service, location, value and rooms. I would just like to advise travelers to avoid using the front office safety deposit box because it is not reliable. more

We arrived in Lourdes through the airport which is shared by Lourdes and Tarbes. The taxis are also specific to either of the two places. There are also very few, even within Lourdes. There were only 3 taxis on hand for a plane full of people when we arrived. People ended up sharing, but others had to wait for more... more

We stayed in the Mercure Lourdes Imperial for three nights. it is definitely one of the better hotels in Lourdes. Amidst the religious kitsch shops this hotel offers a nice haven of calm and tranquility. The staff are very friendly. The room had a decent bathroom and well-functioning airconditioning. Plus points : good location (5 min walk from the Grotto... more

The room that we were allocated to in this hotel was the second smallest hotel room that we have stayed in in Europe to date. However, the room offered a spectacular view of the river and the Pyrenees. The bathroom reminded us more of a three star than a four star hotel (which the hotel professes to be). In addition,... more

The hotel is in a good central location and I booked the hotel thinking that it is going to be good. I checked into the hotel and went to my room. Although the room looked decent, it was a lot smaller than a lot of the 3* hotels I've stayed before. I opened the bathroom and I was put-off by... more

Another spotlessly clean Mercure Hotel. Only 3 blocks walking to the religious shrine. Ask for a room overlooking the river. Pleasant & helpful staff, who spoke English, like most Mercure Hotels. I would only recommend Lourdes if you are visiting for the religious significance, which is an entirely different matter. However, the town immediately surrounding the shrine, is a depressing... more

Stayed for some days at this wonderful friendly hotel. Rooms are slightly small but perfectly tended to and within the average size of the older European hotels. Restaurant very pleasant with friendly and most helpful staff and wonderful menus. Food was absolutely faultless. Hotel is in a nice location close to everything but quiet and relaxing. Beautiful stained glass window... more

The Lourdes Imperial Mercure was a fabulous hotel to stay in. Not only was the hotel close to the sanctuaries and shopping streets, the hotel couldn't have been nicer and most helpful. We arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight and the hotel desk was waiting for us. The rooms had already been assigned and the parking gate was... more

We stayed in a room with a triple bed so it seemed small by U.S. standards but was very comfortable & CLEAN!!! There were two toilets in the room (nice feature with three ladlies in a room)...one held the bathtub/shower & a toilet & the other just toilet. The hotel is situated on the banks of a river & is... more
